Big Pine is a pleasant , small town with great views. Staying at Margie's cabin is a treat! It's clean and comfortable and is great to return to after exploring the mountains. Generous area to park when returning and also a mudroom with a bench to leave any dirty or wet boots , etc. Nice kitchen to cook in or just to make coffee. Margie greets you when checking in, shows you the cabin & some friendly conversation!!

When I booked this place I was looking for a few days to get away from city life. After a few days/nights here I feel my nervous system has been reset. To be quite honest, I didn’t want to leave! I love the private location, sure there’s a bit of a drive into the mountains, but it was all worth it. The smell of the trees, fresh air scenery and some wildlife. My sinuses were clear my entire stay! The first evening it rained and it was beautiful. The sound of the rain hitting the trees, the scent and sound of the stream trickling in. The sky at night was breathtaking and the trails nearby with redwoods and moss all over the rocks. It was hard to pack and leave, but I will always keep this place and experience dear to my heart. This yellow cabin is something special. Thank you Joanie for providing this experience and for being so communicative. P.S. Rent the hot tub, it’s totally worth it at night. Buy the jam! Also look out for stinging nettle & poison ok around the stream.

This place was absolutely beautiful. My little family of 3 went and it was just want we needed my 6 year old says the creek was his favorite part. It's hard to choose for us. thank you Matthew for hosting us!

We had a lovely stay at Robert and Irene’s place! When we arrived on the first night, the house was already warm and cozy with the heater on, which was such a thoughtful touch. Although the heater unexpectedly stopped during the first night and woke us up due to the cold, we quickly found the instructions and got it running again without any issues. Irene also prepared freshly baked cookies for us, and they were hands down the best homemade cookies I’ve ever had! The house is well-equipped with everything you might need, and the neighborhood is quiet and very comfortable. Thank you, Robert and Irene, for such a welcoming and memorable stay!

Kevin’s place is neat and peaceful. You can see the stars at night. The host is very friendly and they left food for us. That is very helpful in a town that is hard to get grocery. We had a great time thank you.

Great stay, easy check in and a great cozy atmosphere. Host was very communicative before arrival and flexible when we thought we might have to delay our trip, but all worked out and we had a great stay. Will definitely be our go to spot if we visit the area again.

Fred's cabin was absolutely amazing! The cabin itself is cozy, nestled in the woods, spotless,beautifully appointed and has everything you need for a perfect getaway. Fred was incredibly proactive and responsive, ensuring that all instructions were clear and easy to follow. The surroundings are stunning, providing a peaceful and beautiful retreat. I would highly recommend this cabin to anyone looking for a relaxing, nature-filled escape. I’ll definitely be looking to book again!

We loved our stay at The Wagon Wheel. It was a beautiful spot for the four of us to spend a few days. The kitchen had everything we needed to prepare our meals. We loved looking out the window at the horses galloping around in their corral with the high peaks of the Sierra in the background. There was even a live Christmas tree in the living room, certainly a welcome and unexpected touch at an Airbnb. Ali was super responsive and friendly. We would definitely stay at The Wagon Wheel again.
