House vacation rentals in Inverclyde

Andy’s house is fantastic for a celebration weekend. Twelve of us stayed there comfortably and there is so much public space that it’s easy to do different things yet assemble for meals. The view from the conservatory and garden is stunning. We had one person in a wheelchair and the house worked well for him too. Andy and Joan were welcoming and helpful.

The most perfect location for a hen party! Chris was the most amazing host with all his information to ensure the stay was as perfect as it could have been! Chris was always on hand if anything was required and always ready to answer questions along with giving recommendations! Location was perfect in a very quiet neighbourhood with a 5 minute walk to the train station to get straight into the centre of Glasgow in no time! Would highly recommend staying here to anyone!

What a beautiful place. Despite the storm we were still intent in getting to see this place and we are very glad we did. Beautifully furnished, peaceful location and a fantastic host. Very highly recommended.

We had a lovely time staying at Margaret's home over the New Year period. The house is well set-up and and was warm and welcoming for us arriving. The weather was atrocious for a few of our days but the house remained lovely and warm and we took advantage of access to the local hotel spa facilities which is a great addition to the booking. It's a great location for accessing the local countryside and we had some great walks when the weather cleared. Margaret was very helpful and responsive throughout our stay, and afterwards when we accidentally left some things behind. It's a great location, excellent value for money and we'd love to come back in the summer.

We had a very cosy and comfortable stay in Lisa's caravan. It was well equipped, clean and warm. We would definitely stay here again when visiting Glasgow. We had the best of both worlds, a beautiful view and landscape to explore plus an easy train into the city. It ticked all the boxes.

Enjoyed a great weekend at Larissa’s. Great location, cosy home, wonderful lounge with view over the water. Walks literally out of the back door.

Rosemary’s cottage was beautiful, clean and well presented. Everything was accommodated for, and all instructions were laid out and clear. Any issues were resolved promptly and there was fantastic communication from the hosts. We’ve thoroughly enjoyed our stay and particularly enjoyed curling up by the log fire whilst watching TV. We enjoyed a lot our time in Kylie house. Everything was excellent, but the beds are amazing. The in that is very near has delicious food. The train station is 3 minutes walking. It was snowing outside, but there were people playing golf!

We had a wonderful stay at Jane’s cottage. It was peaceful, easily accessible, had everything we needed (and more!) and had beautiful views. Jane was really kind and helpful. She was flexible with check in and check out times which was really appreciated, and left a lovely selection of toys for our toddler to play with. Would not hesitate to book again - in fact, we’re already planning a trip in Summer! Thank you again, Jane.

The cottage was very spacious with more than enough room for 4adults. The beds were extremely comfortable and the linen was clean and fresh. The location was excellent for the coast and for Glasgow so we were able to do a variety of activities. We would use the cottage again when we visit the area.

Beautiful stay in this adorable little cottage. Absolutely perfect location with stunning views. Easily sleeps 4, lovely log burner and great for hanging out with friends or a family.

Amazing host! always at the end of the phone if we needed anything. The house was lovely! Super cosy. A real home away from home.

Beautifully refurbished home, with everything we needed. Was lovely to stay in over Christmas to spend time with family in Glasgow. Perfect for what we needed. The area doesn’t have much to offer but does have the basics needs and is very easy to travel around if you have a car or using trains!

The Old Nunnery was easy to find. Entry was supposed to be a key code lock but this was broken. We could enter but not lock the door. One phone call and Tom who was looking after the property immediately attended and arranged for a locksmith. A new lock was fitted within a couple of hours which was brilliant. The house is large and provided great accommodation for the family. We were comprised of adults and older teens giving them space to socialise and play games but also space for everyone to watch a film together. Huge kitchen and dining room perfect as we took all our meals together creating a very special Christmas. We were 15 in total and it did not feel crowded.the kitchen has lots of crockery and cutlery and a fantastic bar area. Hot tub steam room and sauna which was greatly enjoyed. There are sone artworks as mentioned in previous reviews which might not be suitable for younger children. The views are stunning and many a morning spent watching the seals. Short drive to shops

We had a wonderful experience at Cathy’s Jura house in Dunoon. From the very beginning, Cathy was extremely helpful and attentive, making sure we had everything we needed. The house is cozy and well-equipped, with stunning views that make every morning a true delight. Dunoon is a perfect place for families—peaceful and surrounded by natural beauty. We highly recommend Jura house and hope to return soon.
