House vacation rentals in Ilia

Villa Ohlive is tucked away high up on the island. The drive up can be a bit nervy but the view when you get there is incredible. If you have kids that want to party in the old town and catch a taxi back just a reminder it’s around 50euro per trip. The villa is a piece of heaven to escape from the heat and hustle and bustle after a day of sight seeing.

We had a wonderful stay in the villa of Eva and Jim. The surrounding is beautiful and very quiet. It is also very convenient to be able to walk to the beach. Eva was very kind and helpful. She informed us in advance that the supermarket was closed which was very useful and organised a taxi so we could go back to Skopelos town. If we have to mention a negative point, is that the kitchen (the fridge, barbecue, the dishes) was not very clean, but all the rest was perfect. We would come back again.

We came to Villa Calypso with our family of 5 after a few busy days in Athens and were immediately surprised by the beautiful house and breathtaking view and sunset! We enjoyed the surroundings, the pool and ping pong table. And loved the beds and showers! We took a hike on Iro's path in Politika and swam in the sea every day in Dafni Beach. We came in what seemed to be the beginning of the off-season, so it was very quiet and some places were closed for the season. Nevertheless we had a great time, and wish we could come back someday.

A hidden jewel with two real Super-Hosts! Our hosts met with us at the local church and guided us to the house. - It was a very warm welcome and the four of us felt immediately like at home. The house is designed with love, well furnished with an eye for details and well-equipped. All the essentials were already been taking care of and we missed not a single thing. The charming house and the lovingly created garden are a perfect hideaway. - A garden with plenty of room for kids to play and parents to relax. They have a stylised beetroots with vegetables, herbs and fruits of al kind and multiple toys to spent time with. We really enjoyed our stay and the house, surrounding, and our cordial hosts exceeded our expectations. We definitely will get back!

We really enjoyed our stay at the cottage. Very beautiful location with fabulous views, and the cottage was very nicely furnished with plenty of space. Sally was an excellent host, lots of helpful suggestions as to things to do and restaurants to visit, all of which enhanced our holiday. Skopelos is a stunningly beautiful island, and we definitely plan to return!

We had a great time in the villa. It’s located in the middle of nature which makes it very peaceful to stay in. Manolis was super communicative and helpful, we had a great stay!

Excellent location in the middle of the old town. A very homely and comfortably furnished apartment. The crown is a large roof terrace with a wonderful view of the sea and the city. The apartment has three floors and a lot of stairs, but the whole city is full of them :). I would come here again and I can recommend this to others as well. Beautiful place on a great location, 2 min by car from the center of amfikleia. The house is warm and very cosy! We had a great time and we are willing to visit it again! :)

Our stay at the home was great!clean sheets and comfortable beds!clean spaces and tidy!very beautiful decor, fully equipped kitchen,all amenities! The house is located right in the square in the most central spot with restaurant and cafe.

Beautiful home, wonderful host, PERFECT neighborhood, this is the perfect place if you’re looking to feel tucked away while in the heart of the town. Highly recommend! The home has a well-stocked kitchen, good lighting, comfortable furniture, and pretty village views from each window. It’s within easy walking distance of the sea, many restaurants, and a large supermarket. We stayed for 3 months during the winter and everything was perfect. Our visit was quiet, we had beaches all to ourselves, and we got to know so many wonderful locals. Also the cats in this part of the neighborhood are particularly sweet! Christmas time in Skiathos is truly magical. Oliver was a wonderful host, very responsive, helpful, and kind. We would book with him again in a heartbeat! It was a privilege to stay in this home and I’d recommend it to anyone considering a visit to Skiathos ☺️

We had a great stay. The house is perfectly located for getting to Parnassos for skiing and you can easily walk into the town of Arachova. The host was fantastic! Very helpful recommendations and very kindly brought us breakfast in the morning! It felt like a home from home.

We visited Greek in the last days of August and stayed at Dimitris and Fryni's accommodation. The house is easily accessible, with a beautiful view from the balcony and a cozy garden for relaxing in the morning or afternoon hours but also for children to play. All spaces were spotless, and the kitchen was fully equipped and comfortable. A unique surprise is the French pool table in the space and the toys for the kids. A beautiful renovated house that I highly recommend to those who are thinking about visiting the area. Outside the house there is a private space for parking. The beaches in the areas are all beautiful. Of course I can't help but serve the children. The communication with them was direct and friendly. The kids were very helpful and willing to help us and let us know about any questions. From the bottom of our hearts, a big thank you from us Dimitris and Fryni for your impeccable hospitality!!!! ♥️

Very cozy house, very well equipped, everything worked, very personally furnished. Great terrace with various seating. The treehouse is a good retreat, especially for smaller children. However, a car is urgently needed and a well-thought-out shopping list, as the possibility for shopping is not just around the corner. We were able to visit great beaches, also on foot. The paths to the beaches were often very adventurous. Authentic Greece, with very friendly people.

Manolis met us at the ferry and guided us to the apartment, it was a 5 minutes walk. On the way he told us about the island and the transport to get around. He also sent us a list of a places worth visiting (beaches, restaurants etc.). We asked where we can get beach towels and he brought us the towels himself ☺️ Apartment is very pretty, exactly like the photos. Kitchen has everything you can possibly need for cooking, there was also a small bottle of local olive oil we could use. Lots of coffee but no tea, wasn’t a problem for us but something to keep in mind. The location is great, close to the central street but quiet and not busy. Many plants inside too 🪴 We enjoyed our stay and would definitely want you to come again!

Me and my family had the most relaxing stay last week at Mataki guest house! Mata was super responsive and helpful whenever I needed to ask any questions and gave some great recommendations about the area! We loved Skiathos and hope to come back! The air bnb is set back from the town so it’s lovely and peaceful, the location is perfect.

Lovely traditional country house with pool, house and linen clean, kitchen well equipped. Great peaceful location surrounded by chickens, sheep, olive and fruit trees. Kids loved the pool and swing. Pool was cleaned and well maintained by Kostas during our stay. Kostas is a kind and friendly host who is easily contactable House is close to Skopelos town, restaurants and supermarket but would recommend a car.

We had an unforgettable holiday at Kostas' house in the best October weather. The direct location by the sea and the incredibly beautiful view, the good equipment of the house and the entire ambiance have made for a perfect holiday. The house was very clean and we didn't miss anything. It is spacious, nicely decorated and very well appointed. We especially liked the pool and barbecue area with stone oven. The communication with Kostas was always very nice. He gave us many great tips. One of the best accommodations we've ever had. We'll be happy to come back and look forward to next time.

Rena’s place is amazing, just as in the photos. We were two families with 3 kids each, and we all had a lovely time. We enjoyed the pool, game room, tennis court and basketball. The kitchen is well equipped. There are many restaurants, beaches and a supermarket 10 min drive. But it is hard to leave the house and pool :) Note that the room upstairs is in a cool comfortable attic but requires climbing a ladder that is not easy for some ages.
