My friends and I chose Kwetu for our annual out of town getaway. We had an amazing experience staying at Kwetu Home! The place exceeded our expectations with its privacy, spaciousness, warmth, and spotless cleanliness. The hospitality provided by the host, Winfred, and her support team, Moses and Kevin, was exceptional. They made us feel so welcome, and the thoughtful gesture of a basket of fresh fruits was the perfect touch. I highly recommend Kwetu Home for anyone looking for a comfortable and peaceful getaway. Thank you for making our stay so memorable! We shall definitely be back.

An amazing beautiful serene place with helpful host and caretaker. Lots to do with a boat and hiking to the beautiful waterfall. Short drive off the main road and easy to find using Google maps. Definitely recommend this place to anyone who enjoys the outdoors.

Caroline’s place was perhaps the most beautiful home we’ve ever stayed at. The home is massive, well appointed, and exceptionally clean. The staff took excellent care of us. The grounds are so expansive and manicured that pictures could never do them justice. And the views are incredible! We didn’t want to leave, but it’s only 2.5 hours from Nairobi with the new roads so we plan to come back. I give this home my highest recommendation!

River cottage

I really enjoyed my stay at the river cottage. It was super restful, quiet and serene! The place is exactly as shown in the photos, or even better because the grass is now greener! The facilities are great- the wifi was impeccable, I had hot water (both in the bathtub and the shower) I loooved that outdoor shower! The place is also very clean. Catherine brought me milk every morning (proper milk!) - I got vegetables from the garden - I got Pickled Pink chillies from the kitchen (these are awesome btw) - and I got farm eggs. Patrick also helped me buy a chicken for dinner somewhere! - I was basically home. Finally, I fell in love with Lomi the dachshund. Thank you for the warmth Catherine, Patrick and the other lady who came to clean - and thank you Dion for sharing your beautiful space - I'll definitely be back! for Lomi especially!!

The cottage was such a nice escape from Nairobi. We booked very last minute and Maureen was so great. It's very private and in lovely green surroundings. There is a deck in the yard where you can see a great view of Mt. Kenya. The caretaker, Peter, was so friendly and responsive. He walked us down to a beautiful waterfall -- I definitely recommend. Bring good walking shoes though because there are some rocky paths and steep stairs down to the falls. The yard goes all the way around the house and is completely fenced in. It made security very solid and our dog loved it! He got to wander around and enjoy the weather. We got there in the dark and her directions were so good that we didn't have a problem. We had a normal car and the roads were fine for it, just be aware of pot holes.

Enjoyed staying at Rawin's Home . I booked late and my request was accommodated. Apartment was clean and matched the pictures. It has a great view of Mt Kenya! There is a secure basement parking which is manned by a security guard. Rawin was super responsive and I highly recommend his place.

Delphine's house is nestled down a 2km gravel road, sorrounded by forest. Ideal for relaxing on the terrace with views of Mt. Kenya, but there are also plenty of areas to relax indoors. About 30mins drive from Nanyuki, but there are a few restaruants closer to the place. Great for disconnecting!
