Vacation rentals with lake access in Hyrynsalmi

50 + old full brick house. Thoughtfully renovated. Everything you need was also found in the kitchen. The house has an air source heat pump. Having travelled a lot, I can say that a positive surprise. Good beds and pillows.

Our holiday in Lehtikerp was idyllic and we had a great time. It's like a hidden gem. The house, sauna building, and surrounding milieu were all unique, which brought a fabulous ambiance. Everything worked well, there was plenty of room for a larger group, and Kari was a great host. We can recommend Lehtikerppu to others in need of the Kainuu region as well. You won't go into this place with love!

The cottage was clean and matched the description, and communication with the host went smoothly. The area has great opportunities for outdoor activities.

Very nice cottage. The curtain rod in one of the rooms fell as soon as it touched it. There was no baking paper in the apartment. Good location, but limited parking for cars. Sauna small compared to the size of the apartment. We'll definitely be back, though.

Everything was amazing, beautiful scenery, great sauna and amenities. Take care when arriving to the place because you may end up in the neighbours yard instead

Very nice and cozy home close to the lake. The house is easily accessible and surrounded by beautiful nature. The sauna is really nice.

Maija's place was retro and old-fashioned as described. The house also found everything you need for a few nights' stay, including a small mattress and bedding for the toddler who traveled. Communication with the host was quick and smooth!

A stunningly located apartment with a good level of equipment. The only downside was the loudly ticking kitchen clock, but when you put it in the windshield for the night, you could sleep😊. The host was also a great communicator and the instructions were clear.

A lovely place to stay! Beautiful views from the apartment out over the water. Nice walking trails nearby and easy access to a sandy shore and forest. Antti is a wonderful host. We booked last minute and he was very responsive and friendly throughout our stay. The apartment itself is spacious, nicely furnished, and modern. The sauna was great and the internet is fast for remote work (easily did video calls, streaming, etc). We wish we could have stayed longer!

Functional accommodation, fast and factual communication. Everything worked very well. Location on the ground floor convenient for transportation of luggage and sports equipment.

We spent a nice couple of days at the cottage. Swim, sauna, and moved nearby. The cottage was close to the driveway, but the sounds of traffic didn't bother you. The neighboring cottage is also very close and the residents were there, but it wasn't a disturbance in any way. Unfortunately, the dock wasn't in place, which made it difficult to carry water to the sauna and swim, but it didn't make it impossible. The sleeping loft mattresses could use a revamp.
