Family-friendly vacation rentals in Hyams Beach

Julia was lovely to deal with. The place was very well located, a short walk to a dog friendly beach which was so lovely! A cafe and general store around the corner.

Nadja has excelled in the hospitality she extended to us . My daughter and I were in need of a much needed retreat hoping to rest and restore. Rosenthal Farm Retreat more than met our hopes and expectations. This little solar passive retreat invites the light and sun in with views over the countryside to take your breath away. The sunrise early morning was worth getting up for .....lovely enjoying the colours ,beauty and stillness from the deck . Although 5 mins or less drive to Milton township for restaurants, ,boutique eateries and great little clothes shops we felt like we were in the middle of nowhere and a million miles from care. Nadja has created a retreat with all you need .....full kitchen , huge spa bath with views over the countryside , woodfire and all the comforts of home .Thank you so much Nadja it was everything we needed and more. We will be back soon !!!!

We had the best week at Sundara. We were an extended family group of 8 adults and 3 young kids, and as such a big group we often struggle to find a big enough place to spread out in - Sundara was perfect. Lots of space with several living spaces so we didn’t feel on top of each other the whole time, and plenty of space outside for the kids to run around in. The playground, pool and climbing equipment were perfect for the girls, Melanie has thought of everything when catering for young children, so it’s a really great spot for them. The pool and spa were perfect temperature so we could use them all day and in the evening too when the kids went to bed. Melanie’s communication was excellent and made the process so easy. We’ll definitely be back !

Terri has thought of everything you might need! Lovely space, even though it rained most of our stay it was fine because the house was so spacious and the outdoor dining space was great.

Lovely neat little cabin, one of a very small complex - not attached to someone’s property. Easy walk to the local shops or the beach. Updated interior with every we needed. Host was friendly and really approachable. Would definitely stay again.

We absolutely loved our time and Chris and Rachel’s beach dream house. There was plenty of room, close to shops and beach. We loved every minute of our time there. They were fabulous hosts. So friendly and responsive. Thanks so much guys x

The property was amazing, did not need to go anywhere else. Could swim in the pool, go for a bush walk, feed the animals. Play indoor and outdoor games. Great for families

This wonderful little beach house had everything we needed for a weekend away. The kitchen was very well equipped, everything was near and tidy and we loved the north facing (fenced) front yard! It was a quick stroll to the beach and very easy to access.

Great place, close to the beach. All the amenities you need including a really nice deck out the side of the house. Using the key for the front door can be a bit tricky - just needs a fair bit of jimmying. Really easy to communicate with Vanessa who’s friendly and flexible.

Great stay at Tony’s place! Lots of privacy and nature. Place was spotless, and table tennis was a hit! Bedding was comfy and bathrooms were clean. We came on a hotter day and the air con is great in the living and dining area, however the bedrooms do get quite hot and stuffy in hotter weather. The breeze is wonderful in these times. One of the window nettings wasn’t fitted in place properly resulting in alot of bugs coming in, but it was an easy fix and was not an issue afterwards. Heaps of seasonings in the cupboards, huge fridge & plenty of cooking utensils! Beach was an easy 5-10min walk away and you can even hear the waves at night which is very therapeutic. Overall great place to stay with a big group of friends! Some outdoor games and board games were also provided! Note if you want to use the fire pit to bring your own logs - but there are some thick branches in the surrounding bush which we made do with long enough to roast some marshmallows :)

We had a nice overnight break on our road trip. Great place for our dog to have a good run. The bird life was spectacular. Comfortable & slept well.

The house is very lovely, has a mini backyard playground, which kids love it. The landlord is very generous, left us a lot of fresh food, which is very helpful since we’ve checked in during Christmas and we didn’t prepare much. The town is very small with limited stores. Would recommend bring more food to bnb.

This was our second visit to Villa Currarong. We love it here and look forward to returning again as soon as we can. It just feels comfortable–everything works, and is carefully chosen to be a good example of what it is: the bathtub is a really comfortable bathtub; the beds are very comfortable and the bedrooms private; the kitchen is well-equipped, but not cluttered. The kitchen table begs you to sit at it and talk, drink coffee or play games. The books are varied for different types of people, and contain some unexpected surprises (haven’t seen Ram Dass’s Be Here Now anywhere recently…). It’s just a great spot, perfect for a relaxed getaway. Really looking forward to returning. Thanks, Susan!

I recently stayed at Anne's place and it was wonderful. The accommodation was cozy and beautifully decorated, with all the amenities needed for a comfortable stay. The location was perfect—quiet yet conveniently close to local attractions. Annie's hospitality was outstanding; she was always available and made sure I had everything I needed.

My family loved the house, the pool, and the fact it was so close to the beach was a bonus. The house had everything we needed. Kids had a ball. It was in short Driving distance to all main attractions that we went to. Definitely would recommend to others and would definitely consider staying there again.

We had a wonderful stay at Allambie Gums, the location was private and a very easy walk into the town centre. The outlook with the beautiful gardens and bush surrounding was so peaceful. We loved the homely rustic feel, and taking a cool dip in the pool on a hot summers day was just perfect. Cheryl was a wonderful host, we would definitely stay again. Thank you !

Melissa was a wonderful host and even accommodating for my mum who was on a wheelchair. She was so friendly and easy to talk to. The place is beautiful and the view amazing. We had a happy stay.

Great stay as the villa was located on high ground on Kangaroo Valley golf resort with a balcony that looked across the dams & golf course valley through to the escarpment & bush....WOW!! The birds, kangaroos & wombats were plentiful. Our French mother-in-law loved it! Lots to see & do in the area. The villa was well equipped & the quality of linen & towels was excellent.Lots of games & DVDs too. Our hosts communication was excellent & proactive. Thankyou for a memorable stay, we'll be back.
