Vacation rentals with a patio in Hvalfjörður

Such a central location. Super clean and cozy. Just absolutely lovely. I would absolutely recommend this to anybody.

It was a real joy staying in Ludvik's guest house. It was quite spacious for its size and all amenities were provided in abundance. It felt right at home and is an ideal place to stay before flying out of Iceland. It has our highest recommendation!

Helga was extremely responsive and the information she shared was incredibly helpful! She made sure everything was set for our 11 month old and provided great recommendations. One of our group had a later flight and she was super flexible with a later flexible time. Would highly recommend staying here.

Thelma’s apartment is a lovely three bedroom near Keflavik airport. It was great place to start our Iceland road trip. The rooms are comfortable and the bathroom was spacious. There is a washing machine and dryer too Everything was lovely except that it felt strange that all the cupboards were filled with the host’s personal belongings and clothes

This is one the nicest Airbnb’s I’ve ever stayed in! It’s beautifully decorated, modern and clean with a fully equipped kitchen and supplies. We stayed for almost 4 weeks and never ran out of things to do. Bus travel to downtown is easy and the mall is walking distance. Yndisauki restaurant is literally 2 doors down and very good. We had planned to rent a car but didn’t need to. The host was very helpful and responsive. 5-stars!!

We had a fantastic stay at Maria's apartment! It's conveniently located near the airport, making it perfect for travelers in transit. The apartment was spotless, very hygienic, and had all the amenities we needed. We felt so comfortable-just like being at home. The shower was excellent, and we loved the spacious bathtub! My mother and I truly enjoyed our time here. I highly recommend this property to anyone needing a cozy and convenient stay near the airport.

Nice place to stay with plenty to see around! I worked remotely here and enjoyed the kitties daily visits on the back porch! In unit laundry was wonderful and having all the appliances I needed- kettle, microwave! Thanks for the great stay!

Great location, a short drive from Selfoss and great spot for viewing northern lights. Host was extremely friendly and responsive. The home had everything you would need, very cosy and warm.

Smahraun is perfect! Beautiful, cozy, immaculate. Great location as a home base to explore the Snæfellsnes Peninsula. Highly recommend… if/when we come back, we’ll stay here again for sure!

It is exactly the peaceful escape we were looking for! Wished we had time to spend one more night to truly immerse into the surroundings. Wished our night had a clear sky for the northern light. The sauna was to our rescue under a windy Icelandic night. Hope to visit again in the future.

This is a wonderful property, and the host was very welcoming and responsive. Our group was impressed from the moment we walked in: was spotlessly clean, had a whole library of books and games available, and had all the amenities you could need in the kitchen (including a bowl of cookies left out!). The instructions were clear on the hot tub, and the back patio was a perfect setup to relax there in the evening after a long day of hiking. The property was a very short drive into the town, where there were a handful of nice restaurants, delicious bakery, and grocery store. We slept with the windows open, and had an easy time getting the room to a comfortable temperature for us. There wasn’t often noise in the neighborhood, but the windows were excellent at soundproofing when there was. Overall, was a great stay and I would recommend to anyone coming through the area.

I could not have asked for a better place for my family to stay together. Everything was immaculate. It is exactly what was represented on the website. There was plenty of room for the 7 of us. I loved the siding door that separated the bedroom area from the rest of the house. I would recommend this place to anyone. Styrmir was kind, helpful, and always responsive and flexible. We had a wonderful visit to Iceland!

Had a wonderful few days at Hartmanns place. Everything you might need for self catering was there. The hot tub was a highlight for relaxing after a long day.

The apartment was clean and comfortable. There is a restaurant, grocery, bakery within a short walking distance and you are only a 10-minute drive to downtown Reykjavik. The kitchen was great as we cooked breakfast each morning before we left on our adventures. We're pretty sure other people lived in the building, but we never heard any noise. The apartment has room darkening shades over the windows so the midnight sun should not be a bother. Apartment is on the 2nd floor with an elevator. We had dinner at the Yndisauki Cafe (short walk) twice. We stopped in on the day we arrived because we were exhausted. We had a lovely dinner and decided to have dinner there again. Both were delicious and well prepared. The staff there are wonderful. I believe they also serve breakfast and lunch. Fridleifur was easy to communicate with and quick to respond to our questions. If you plan to be in Reykjavik - this is the place!

This place is located near Costco gasoline and grocery stores, which was nice because I went on several road trips to explore. You do have to be respectful of the hosts personal belongings, but we normally do not unpack our clothing, so it wasn’t a problem for us. The kitchen was mostly clean besides the oven and microwave. It had all the utensils needed to cook. The couch and TV set up was nice after a long day driving!

Amazing apartment and great host

Such a gem of a place. Incredibly clean, modern and centrally located. The photos don’t do it justice, it’s HUGE and the views are amazing. Definitely saving this one for a return trip!

Eythor’s home is beautiful! 🤩. Love the artwork and decorations. He was very helpful with restaurant recommendations and very quick to respond. The home is located 10 minute walk to Perlan Museum in a quiet area with free street parking. Highly recommend!

This apartment is a fantastic find! The location is perfect to explore Reykjavik, immediately in the vicinity of the main shopping area and great restaurants. The apartment itself is well equipped and homely to be able to cook and spend the evening in, if that’s a preference one evening. Aron was very responsive and helpful with any queries. Great place to stay - highly recommended.

We had a great stay in Selfoss. The condo is tucked into a complex of sorts. There is a playground very close which was great for our kids. The condo was very cozy, clean and comfortable. We were out sightseeing most of our time and this was a great “home base”. Not much to see right around the condo but that didn’t bother us. The condo had everything we needed and more. Thanks for a great stay!!

Unnur's place was wonderful, comfortable, beautiful and quiet. She is a gracious host. Her tips about restaurants and things to do in the area were terrific.
