Such a lovely place - it’s in a quiet neighbourhood a short walk from town… comfy beds and everything you need for a short stay. You can hear noise from the other apartments. Luckily the others staying were quiet but if you are a light sleeper maybe take ear plugs. It wasn’t a problem for me though and I would book again. Thanks for a nice stay..

just 2 blocks from the marina

Probably our best stay and host of the trip, or at least very up there. Place was quiet and in walking distance of an Olis for a quick bite. Neighbourhood felt safe and quiet and peaceful. But above all, it truly was the host that stood out. Form the beginning of booking months ago until check out, Saever was nothing but super friendly, accommodating, remembered little details of our chats, kind, personable and just an all around good guy. He was such a pleasure to speak with and definitely made you feel welcomed. He checked in a few times to ensure everything wa s okay and let us know where everything was and was super responsive. Amazing host and the stay was amazing. Super clean and cozy. A very relaxing stay after driving a lot that day. Thank you friend!

Very responsive host. The apartment is large and we appreciated the space to spread out for a few days. There is a bakery and grocery store almost within eyesight. Takes about one minute to walk there. We really enjoyed our stay.

Great place. Convenient and clean.

As soon as I went in, it was good and the schedule fit, so I added a day. I had a comfortable stay! There were all the cooking utensils I needed, and the bathroom was clean. A happy place to stay that you saw in the aurora

Easy access. Hassle-free check in. Apartment is spacious, clean and modern. Very cosy and warm. Convenient and within walking distance to restaurants and cafe. Vignir is hospitable, proactive and clear with his instructions. Highly recommended.

Lovely little place in a perfect location to walk into town. Perfectly clean and comfortable. The host even found a clothes drying rack for me when I asked about one.

Helgi’s place was in a great location to get to places like Husavik, Myvatn, and only 10 minutes from Forest Lagoon (an absolute highlight and must do!). He was friendly, polite and responsive, and the studio was lovely, well kept and in a wonderful spot. Having a morning coffee (there is a great coffee maker in the studio!) while gazing at the mountain scenery was wonderful. We would highly recommend Helgi’s place, and would love to come back some day :)

Very friendly host, that quickly responded to our messages. We were able to book the place on a very short notice. The place was according to the description and we had a wonderfull stay there. The apartment is located on a quiet street, with almost no traffic. Downtown and restaurants are only a few minutes walk away.

We really enjoyed out stay at the studio apartment. The kitchen had everything you need to cook a simple meal. The owners filled the hot tub only for us and were very kind overall.

The best host we have had in our stay in Iceland, super attentive and pleasant. We were only staying for one night but we were caught by a snow storm and allowed us to stay an extra night completely for free. The morning after the storm they came to clean the way with the tractor and helped us get the car out. We can't be more grateful for the treatment they've given us.

Fantastic location, and a beautiful space with a great balcony. It was a clean space and easy to find.

Great location. A few minutes walk to center and harbor. 1 hour drive from Husvarik (whale watching and geothermal spa - both recommended). Apartment has everything you need. Beds are comfortable. Sharing 1 bathroom between 5 was interesting but we managed fine. Andreas made sure we were happy! Nice bars and restaurants nearby. We loved the Curry House and the best place for breakfast was Berlin.
