This is an old home, quirky and still being updated. Yet it was comfortable, spacious and worked well. Basic yet all we needed.

Staying at Windflowers for the end of our stay in Tasmania was just magical…a beautiful cottage in a stunning location. Bruce and Leonie were warm and welcoming and we felt right at home immediately.

We had a lovely stay at Emma's waterfront shack. Our accommodation was in very peaceful and serene surroundings and in the heart of the Huon area, so is a great place to explore all the Huon has to offer. The shack was really clean and spacious and has lovely views that you can take in from the house. Importantly for us, we could take our dog, thanks Emma for being a pet friendly establishment. Our greyhound gives you a big thumbs up! Highly recommend.

Quiet oceanside retreat. The covered upper deck is where we spent most of our time. We have friends that live just down the road, so we were happy to find this place so close to them. The stay was very relaxing. Grocery just 10 min away. Thank you Jim!

This was a beautiful cosy cabin with amazing views. Jane was away for our visit but communication was good and Phil was very helpful and friendly and we received some of their lovely produce from the garden for dinner. Instructions to find the cabin were perfect. I wish we could have stayed longer - the region is incredible with Cygnet and it's great shops (art and food) just a short drive away.

A very enjoyable family holiday. A very beautiful setting with nice walks and beaches nearby, great fishing and plenty of games for the kids in the house and shed.

Amazing stay at Michelle’s place - only regret is we stayed only one night! Michelle was so friendly, greeted us upon arrival and even offered us some freshly picked berries. Loved sitting in the sunroom with a coffee - amazing sunset view, and great place to do some yoga in the mornings. Met their farm animals as well - some alpacas, sheep, pigs, and many chickens. Highly recommended!

We loved staying in this beautiful cottage (situated below the main house but completely private). Everything was perfectly inviting. We arrived late and the cottage was ready for us with wine, bread, cheese and berries. The linens were top notch and the setting is private, quiet, and very beautiful. We easily could have stayed for a week. Our host Nicholas was very helpful when a small issue arose. We loved driving down to the Hastings Cave area and even all the way down to the beautiful beach at South Cape. The drive along the river when you come and go from this location is very lovely with black swans swimming and adorable local animals hopping along the road (although one must drive carefully as to not drive into them!). There is nothing that could have made this stay better. We love forward to coming back again one day to take a river cruise.

Little Roaring Bay is a stunning place to visit 🤩 We would definitely stay again if we are in the area. The view from the deck of the ocean and the hills is absolutely beautiful. The area is so peaceful and the locals were friendly. We loved being able to walk down to the beach for swims and the bath on the deck was very nice to relax in. It was lovely to be able to fall asleep to the sound of the waves.

I cannot reccommend Amy's place enough. It is extremely good value for money. There was a beautiful welcome pack waiting for us upon arrival, and Amy herself was very responsive to our every need. This host goes above and beyond what is expected. Our family celebrated my mother's 88th birthday in this wonderful internal and external environment. The abundance of crockery, utensils, expansive dining table and chairs, and open plan layout was perfect for this occasion. Afterwards we were able to relax in the outdoor spa which was very welcoming indeed. Thankyou Amy for providing the perfect place for this special occasion.

This accommodation was more than we were expecting. The house was immaculate and had everything we could think of needing. The host had even thought ahead for all my puppies needs, which was lovely. All the little extras, such as condiments, coffee, Huon crumpets (which I then had to stop at the markets to grab a large amount to take home), even treats for my puppy, made this home so welcoming. Kris and Annika were so quick with their responses if I had any questions and were absolutely lovely. Will be booking this accommodation again in the near future. If you need somewhere to completely unwind and escape the hustle of city life, then unwind with a sauna and hot tub in the middle of nowhere, this is the place to go. Amazing!

A loving family home with beautiful garden and peaceful surroundings. You can find everything you need in the house and can prepare soke easy meals there. A gateway to get away from life and take a break in front of the fireplace.

This place is absolutely incredible! We were searching for a last-minute getaway not too far from Hobart and stumbled upon Andrea's charming retreat. Just an hour's drive from Hobart and 5 minutes to Geeveston, it's the perfect base for exploring Hartz Mountain and the Far South. But honestly, you don’t even need to leave the property—there’s so much to enjoy right there on the farm. Our daughter adored the swing and trampoline, while my wife indulged in the spa bath and sauna. The gardens are absolutely stunning, clearly a labor of love, and add so much charm to the experience. We didn't get to see the platypus but we did see a lot of wallabies and other animals at dusk. The house itself is spotless, beautifully furnished with antiques, and incredibly comfortable. The lounge and beds were so cosy that we felt right at home. We could have easily stayed a week and are already planning to return with friends for a longer visit. Highly recommend this gem for anyone looking to relax, unw
