Places to stay in Huntingburg

This location is truly the perfect spot for a relaxing weekend! Benita is very responsive with everything you may need or want.

There is a reason I gave finding the place only 2 stars, and it is not Temple's fault. For some reason our GPS made a huge mistake in finding the place. We were almost there when the GPS told us to turn right on Highway 50. There was only Highway 40, so we turned right there instead of just looking for the address. We became lost and finally asked people, who helped us find it.

Wooded getaway is very accurate. Accommodations were perfect for our needs. The outdoor area is so pretty and Ron had turned the strings of lights on for our arrival. So very thoughtful for us Texans who were tired from a day of travel. There is ample outdoor seating and firewood available for an outdoor camp fire. We all rested well. The price is really good for everything you get. This area of Indiana is stunning. I would like to come back and stay longer! Thank you Ron!

We have stayed with Brian several times now when we are in the area. Absolutly love working with him and staying at this house of his. Super friendly, worked with the crew and I, kept line of communication open.

We had a great stay, loved being in the countryside. Being able to sit on the dock with the swings was awesome, and seeing the ducks waddle around was just too cute. Lovely property.

Absolutely LOVED our stay! 10/10 highly recommend to all. Do not pass this place up. It is peaceful and private, but not too far from town (less than 10 minutes) Karen and Ron have went above and beyond with the inside of the home. Everything is labeled and very easy to navigate. Karen met us to give us a quick tour upon check in and was super responsive through our stay. The pool is amazing and worth the price alone. There are games and stuffed animals for the kids and tons of water toys and floats. Next time all we will need to bring is our swimwear! There are bathroom toiletries, kitchen utensils, many coffee options, endless towels, etc. These hosts are top tier! We will be coming back for sure!

Lovely, modern, clean, accommodations. Our group routinely hikes together and this was perfect. Nice, large, open group area with modern kitchen adjacent to living and dining area. Looks just like the pictures. Sleeping was great and just as described. Trent and April were responsive and helpful. Storms hit the area the night b4 our arrival and Trent was there cleaning up and making sure everything was as good or better than promised. Nice fellow. One of the best ABNB experiences our group has ever had--everyone agreed. Regrettably, it rained interminably during our stay and our hiking was limited--but there are nearby distilleries and wineries so we had plenty to do. We will definitely return if we schedule recreation in the vicinity.

KC is an excellent host!! The property was beautiful!! Enjoyed the outdoor dining and seating options. Absolutely lovely place to relax and enjoy the views. Everything was set up for our evening campfire and s’mores by the pond. KC had great recommendations for local places of interest. The house had everything we needed and more…lots of extra items available in case you forget things…which we did and were so thankful and a pantry that was stocked with many extras! Truly next level stay!
