Fitness-friendly vacation rentals in Hunter Region

Our group of friends had a lovely weekend stay. The apartment was clean, modern and spacious and in a great location. We appreciated the use of the rooftop garden and enjoyed the view.

Wonderful stay in Matthew's beautiful studio apartment. Apartment is well equipped for a comfortable stay and close to a lot of local restaurants and pubs which are all within walking distance. The rooftop is stunning with indoor and outdoor spaces to share and lots of cooking facilities or just relax by one of the two gas fires.

This Air B&B was a lovely place. We all enjoyed it. It was a very relaxing place to chill. Walkable distance to supermarkets, Light Rail and some other shops not far away. We ended up getting the Light Rail to the Wharf then a Ferry to Stockton and swam in the water. The shops over there were lovely and people very friendly. There were 3 of us and we totally enjoyed the accommodation and the space. I would stay there again. Leandro was very helpful and communicated very well with us. Thank you for having us. 🙂

Angela's place is in a great location with an easy walk to the Honeysuckle precinct, the light rail and some great restaurants. The building is secure and the underground parking is an added bonus.

Melissa went above and beyond with her communication, listing a number of things to do, eat and enjoy for our first time as a young family in Nelson's Bay. While the accomodation itself is attached to Mantra Hotel, she puts in a lot of effort with the decor and amenities that you feel like it's your own little holiday apartment to enjoy. It's super practical, being able to cook at home and do the washing while we were there. We were blessed with warm weather so spent a lot of our time out, but when we were back it felt like home. I highly recommend this to anyone who is looking for accomodation in the heart of Nelsons Bay. Thanks again!

We had wonderful time, Donna was a great host, she was very responsive. we would definitely return to have some more fun, kids had awsome time as it was close to all entertainment areas, the place was spotless clean and the lake view from the balcony was amazing. we would highly recommend the place to all family and friends. Thank you once again Donna!

From the moment we walked in, it felt like home. From the little things like fresh milk in the fridge (not long life) and an umbrella left at the front door to Trevor's information about the area and all the amenities supplied. The loungeroom was really comfy and the bathroom and ensuite immaculate. The bed was really comfy, my only wish is that it was a queen, not a double. This is definitely not a complaint. We only stayed one night but know when we visit again, it will certainly be at Trevor's lovely, comfortable home.

We only stayed 2 nights and that was not long enough. This place was gorgeous and such a perfect space to chill with friends and family. The bedrooms and facilities were fab and so clean - the beds were the most comfortable I have ever slept in! The sauna and gym were and added bonus. Thank you for a truly wonderful stay.

The property is beautifully styled with high-end features, spacious and comfortable, with two lounge rooms with a smart tv. Remote lockup garage just big enough to fit a large 4WD. Beds are comfortable and there is plenty of spare bedding if needed. Balcony front and back of the house, plus a large outdoor table on the alfresco area with a beautiful outlook. The property is about 5mins walk from resort amenities. We had a few minor inconveniences during our stay, including some cleaning issues, flaky wifi, noise disturbance from one of the neighbours one night, and the living spaces with floor to ceiling windows do not have privacy blinds, only sheer coverings which can be seen through at night. Overall we otherwise thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The host was extremely accommodating, responsive, helpful and friendly pre, during and post stay. Would highly recommend for small families with older kids, or adult couples travelling together. Not suited for young kids in my opinion.

The house is terrific and the location wonderful but the highlight was the helpfulness of the hosts Leigh and Terence. They recommended local wineries, were great arranging the sleeping configuration we needed, and made our arrival perfect. Really responsive and highly recommended.

We had a beautiful couple of days away with our family. There was something for everyone from the pool, arcade games, a pool table, home gym and our favourite, the alpaca trio!! Super cute 😍. The house was very clean and spacious. The 3 new bathrooms are fantastic! Mardi-Jane was very responsive and straight forward. Thank you Mardi-Jane, we will be back!

The Art House is lovely but was missing a few pictures on the walls, it had a bit of a closed up smell and the furniture outside was very dusty when we arrived which made it feel more like rental than a home. It was on the top of our budget and so the smaller details that were missed did frustrate us but the hosts were responsive to our questions which was great. Beds and sofas are very comfortable, spa was clean and supe relaxing and the house is really large. The facilities are very good overall. The outlook is better than expected but some of the decor is a bit tired which is a bit of a shame for the per night price.

We stayed at the farmhouse with two kids and a puppy (which isn’t usually allowed but they were nice enough to let our pooch stay). There was so much room and activities for everyone that we couldn’t get through everything in the long weekend we stayed. Dan the host was also great in talking us through the home and also where things are on the property and the diverse range of fruit trees (which we could use for a juice if we wanted). The furniture is basic with everything you need especially the kitchen with a 6 burner stove 3 ovens and double door fridge but it’s nothing too fancy. But that suited us with the heating in the lounge room working the entire communal area (which is very large) and as it was 6 degrees at night but 20 during the day it was perfect to turn on after coming inside from feeding brushing the farm animals.

Bruce home was lovely. We really enjoyed our stay. Its a must to visit the caves beach cave at low tide, such fun. We also went to Mawsons resturant for dinner. The Upstairs with 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms are not internally connect to down stairs 3 bedrooms and one bathroom but didnt worry us. There was plenty of room for everyone. We really loved sitting on the balconey enjoying the view. Diane
