Our stay at the Starlight Motel was even better than we expected. The room was very comfortable and had everything we needed. The full kitchen and individual charcoal grills and picnic tables for each room were a huge bonus. Thanks to Michelle for a great stay!

Great location and well run and put together. Staying again and will do so in the future. Highly recommend.

My husband and I had a great stay at The Stewart. Our room was just lovely and the view of the river was a bonus. They have done a wonderful job restoring the property.

Perfect location, awesome decor, cozy room, clean bathrooms. Couldn’t ask for a better stay, if you’re visiting Woodstock I wouldn’t stay anywhere else!

This place is right in the middle of town and you can walk everywhere. The decor is really cute, the bed was comfortable and it was easy to check in. The room is a bit small but I think that’s apparent from the listing. We appreciated the breakfast and coffee. Thank you!

I had on my Catskills bucket list to stay at this motel for a few years and finally had the time! A nice bonus I didn’t know about at my booking was I got a room with a deck that was perfect for sunset teas and a book. The room itself is really cozy - it’s got coffee, milks, and some local popcorn. The fridge was great so I could bring some snacks! The host was really lovely and communicative. There’s no tv which I loved and came ready with a few books.

Second time here, really wish to stay here longer. Such a cozy place I love it a lot! The bed is way too comfortable just can’t get up. We came back to see The host Mrs Doris and her husband Jon. Jon was also surprised to see us and we are happy to see him still as happy as before! Definitely a nice place to stay for getaway!

While the resort was outstanding when it comes to the spa treatments everything was very confusing from the treatments itself, to the staff to them not being organized at all. I’m not sure the treatment was performed by a professional certified masseuse. In fact it was a male for both my wife and I. We were never asked to sign a waiver or fill out any kind of paperwork unlike all other spas we’ve been to. I have been with terrible sciatica pain since Sunday July 7, almost a week now. I believe the male therapist worked my back in a way that he shouldn’t have and pinched a nerve. I am unable to walk, get in and out of car and have been seeing a chiropractor since Monday July 8.

Doris and John are such wonderful hosts, really enjoyed my stay. Bed is very comfortable and breakfast was amazing!

This was our second stay at Peter’s and it was just as great as the first time!

Catskill Rose is a wonderful gem for a place to stay AND their we enjoyed delicious food at their restaurant on our arrival evening. Peter is a GREAT HOST! He surprised us by putting orange juice, hard boiled eggs and scones in the mini frig plus a couple wonderful apples on the dining table. You have to drive everywhere, but in that area, that's what you do. His lodge/restaurant is right off the main road and it was easy to find. We were in the front of the lodge, so we heard road traffic, but again, to be expected given the area. Parking was very nice gravel/stone (not dirt, no potholes). This was a perfect find for attending a destination wedding where the church in Phoenicia was 5 min drive and the wedding venue (Foxfire Mountain in Mt Tremper) was 4 min drive. Adorable, quiet, clean cabin. The owners are fantastic and so nice! Quiet location, found a grocery store about 10 minutes away. Enjoyed our stay!

“This place was perfect for my son and me. It was very comfortable and just 3 minutes from the ski mountain, with plenty of dining options nearby. The host was incredibly kind and responsive. When we requested to increase the heating, they adjusted it immediately and even offered the option to turn on the electric fireplace. We had a fantastic stay and would definitely recommend it!”

We had a lovely stay. Very cozy and welcoming with a sense of history on the picturesque property. The outdoor tree lights were stunning as we pulled in after dark. Check in was easy and we felt right at home immediately. There were lots of little extras that made us feel special: book lights in the bedside tables, coffee/tea, yogurt and milk in the fridge, cookies/biscuits and fruits, lots of throw pillows and blankets. It was a really nice setup for working or lounging. The bathroom is beautiful! Huge shower with an artisanal bar of soap. The bed was very comfortable and the heat was easy to adjust. Everything was scrupulously clean and well-labeled. The wall and ceiling candelabras cast a warm light and were all dim-able. Lovely touches all around! We would come back again!

Very cute and private room. We enjoyed the hot tub and the fire pit was great afterwards. I would book again if ever in the area.
