Vacation rentals in Howard

This place was just what we needed. We rented this place following a death in the family locally and we needed somewhere for family to gather and be together. This house and the property was everything we could ask for. Quiet. Peaceful. Spacious enough to allow for individual space when needed. The property is beautiful. The house has character and comfort. The hosts have stocked EVERYTHING a person could need. And it has an amazing vibe and history. It felt to all of us that there has been much love and laughter in this historic home which is just what we needed. Thank you for hosting us.

What a beautiful spot to spend the weekend. The log cabin is homey, cozy and inviting. Every detail has been thought of and spending time here truly feels like an escape. We try and stay here whenever we are in the area visiting our daughter and Kenyon and we look so forward to our visits.

We had a lovely overnight stay! Everything was exactly as pictured. We had everything we needed to cook a delicious meal using the pots/pans/utensils provided in the kitchen. The extra snacks were a nice touch (we couldn’t resist trying the popcorn) and the stock of coffee/creamer was a huge plus since we forgot to bring our own for the morning. We greatly enjoyed the peaceful surroundings from the back patio and hot tub. Thank you for sharing your beautiful space!

We had a great weekend. It was nice to escape the stress and responsibilities for a couple of days. It rained quite a bit, but it was cozy just staying in the cabin and reconnecting with my husband.

We really enjoyed our stay at Monique's place! The house is spacious and has many windows and balconies to be able to enjoy the views from most rooms! The neighborhood is friendly and calm, and the lake is really beautiful! The living room porch and the master bedroom porch have great views of the lake.

Wow, I can’t say enough about the cabin! It was exactly as described, and we and our pups loved all the little surprises along the hiking trail. The hot tub was well maintained, and it was so peaceful and relaxing—I’m already looking forward to another visit!

Such a relaxing few days! The house had evening we needed and more. The walk to the dock is a tab steep, but I’m a little chubby and still did just fine. :) our only regret is that we didn’t book it for one more day!
