Vacation rentals in Howard County

This is a large finished basement of a large home. Like most basements, it is cold, and there is no separate thermostat. It also has limitations as far as electricity and plumbing that require you follow rules to prevent tripped breakers or clogged septic tanks. Wifi is available but not strong or fast everywhere. The surrounding area is good for hiking, fishing, and biking. However, the roads are not very walkable. There are also limited choices for restaurants nearby: just one bar is available within a few miles.

Would stay here again. Beautiful place & spacious. Very comfortable beds.

The apartment was clean and spacious. Kim very good location. My family loved the place. Kim is a great host. She was quick to respond when we needed help and when we had questions. The apartment had what was listed and more. I will come back if I find myself in Maryland again. Thank you.

Loved the stay. Safe neighborhood and Yovanni literally had everything in the house. From chopsticks to extra pillows and covers. We were visiting to potentially move to MD, and this really gave us a residential experience. Was located at a decent distance from great suburbs and Baltimore city. Would definitely recommend!

We stayed here for a few nights in town for a family wedding. The location is private and peaceful and beautiful. We were a group of 10 people from 14 years old to 73 years old and the home was comfortable and welcoming. The kids stayed downstairs and had their own rooms and bathrooms and the upstairs was laid out in such a roomy way. Everyone slept really well as the beds were comfy and cozy. We had a relaxing stay in a beautiful place.

We got into the house and everything was exactly like it looked in the pictures. Everything was clean and simple. Everything you could need is right down the street. We ended up having a snow storm while we were there and they thankfully had shovels and brushes to clear the snow. Everything was perfect for our short stay.

This peaceful paradise has become a regular stay for me and my furry friend. We love it. It’s clean and quiet. Holly is also awesome if needed. Highly recommend!

John and Fionna were wonderful hosts! Very friendly, communicative, and when there was a small issue they took care of it right away; They are really great people. The property is stunning, especially this time of year when the trees start to flower. It is far off the main road and super private and quiet/peaceful yet close enough to everything you want. As a traveler who was moving from the other side of the country and needed a temporary landing spot to start a new job, it was the perfect place. My favorite part was listening to the chickens do chicken things in the morning. Given an opportunity, I'd stay here again.
