Fitness-friendly vacation rentals in Hout Bay

This was the 3rd time I stayed at Masi’s place and could highly recommend this apartment. It is right in the CBD but the apartment itself is very quiet, Masi is friendly and flexible. I arrived late in the evening due to a late flight, but that is no problem for him. The apartment is clean and provides everything I need.

The place was as it looked on the app, beautiful!. The best part was the view, it has an amazing beautiful view. Easy access to V&A Waterfront in minutes. The area is clean and safe above all the host is very good with communication, they left no detail in explaining everything. The host even told us of a company that keeps your suitcases and delivers them wherever you incase your flight is way later after checking out. Everything about this apartment was awesome we felt at home.

Excellent host, very accommodating and helpful with local advice. We used Uber to get around but there are many sights and restaurants and the Gardens shopping centre that is walkable distance. Sparking communal pool and gym. Excellent and friendly security, and secure access. I highly recommend Luisa's spot. I hope that it is available for our next trip to CT.

The apartment was clean, and the images accurately represented the space. Communication with Penny and Charmaine was excellent; they were friendly and helpful hosts.

Great stay, exactly as described and beautifully clean. View from the balcony is amazing, and the bar/pool area is also lovely, filled with friendly people. Ideal if you are looking to stay very central, near good restaurants and a nice short walk from the waterfront ⭐️

The place is so beautifully decorated and the location is nestled away so nicely you forget that you are close to a mall or highway. Will definitely try to come again.

I had a fantastic experience, the host was incredibly welcoming and responsive ensuring that everything went smoothly. The property was exactly as described- clean, well-maintained, and equipped with everything I needed for a comfortable stay. The location was perfect- closer to local attractions.

Jan’s place now really feels like our home away from home hence us returning every time! Everything is just as described, it’s spotlessly clean, has underground parking, close to lots of great restaurants and cafes as well as being able to wake up to the beautiful mountain! As always, Kim was an absolute pleasure, very friendly and always there if or when needed. Thanks for an amazing stay and we’ll be back!

Pros: Excellent location for a short stay. It has everything that you need. The view is stunning. We can only recommend it. Parking included High safety standards in the building Cons: Bed (140 cm) mattress and pillow could be improved. However is ok for a short stay.

Our stay in the penthouse apartment was wonderful and Henri was a consummate host who communicated every little detail clearly and efficiently. The apartment itself was beautifully laid out and decorated, clean, comfortable, and very aesthetic. The views of Table Mountain from the rooftop terrace was also absolutely breathtaking! The location is also super convenient and central, making it a breeze to take in the best of Cape Town. We will certainly be back!

First and foremost i would love to thanks Kirsten for allowing us to check in early as we arrived earlier than anticipated, she went beyond and above to ensure we checkin and get some rest, we definitely coming back in future to this specious apartment with lovely view to Table Mountain and Lion’s Head. We had a wonderful stay at Anna's lovely apartment. Communication was excellent – she was very responsive and provided clear instructions and helpful tips. The apartment is clean, modern, and has everything you could need. The views are truly outstanding, even more impressive than the photos. We also appreciated Anna's kindness and understanding when we unfortunately had a small accident that caused some damage. We highly recommend staying here 10/10 😉

Great place in the centre of town. Fantastic views of table mountain and the harbour.

Clean and modern furnished apartment in the center of Cape Town. The Waterfront is in walking distance. The reception of the building is continuously occupied - after a first registration you can access the building by face scan. Access to the apartment is easily done by means of a key box. The apartment itself is modernly furnished and has everything needed for a short stay. On an upper floor of the building there is an outdoor area with pool, bar and sports area that are freely accessible. From here you have a great view of the city, the sea and Table Mountain.

Absolutely wonderful stay. The Estate is safe, security friendly and professional. Extremely clean, everything that you need, fantastic view of Marina, walking distance to V&A. Friendly housekeeper. Excellent service from owner. Overall, would highly recommend.

Olivia’s place is charming and comfortable. It was much bigger that expected with a beautiful yard. The location is central but quiet and it is ideal for exploring the city. Self-checking was smooth. Highly recommended.

Tanya was thee absolute best ,a perfect host ,very helpful aswell as her helper ,the place was easy to find and I must say the pictures don’t do it any justice it’s a beautiful place clean and the kitchen has everything we needed for our stay ,the pool kept the kids busy as it was so hot ,she even gave us an extra day 🌸I must say she was one of the kindest individuals that have ever hosted me ,I appreciate all she did for myself and my family ..

A very late booking but i was so well received into a Lovely spacious place with hosts that really ensured that we were comfortable. The space is so much bigger than the pics. I loved the touch of a rustic feel. Weather was hot but the availability of adequate aircons and fans allowed us to enjoy our stay. Thanks for a great stay and accomadating us exceptionally well.

Excellent stay w/ a very accommodating, helpful, and attentive host. Bibiana and her ground team - Belinda and Arnold - are true vacation rental gems. Our group of friends had an incredibly restful, cared for experience. And when an issue arose with some unfinished painting in the master suite, Bibiana made the swift decision to open other parts of the house for our use. The house is immaculate, the views unparalleled, and waking up in the shadow of Table Mountain each day - nothing short of a dream come true. Enjoy your time here!

Bedrooms were great, views excellent, communal areas perhaps didn't work that well for 10 guests. Kitchen cutlery perhaps needs an upgrade. But overall was an excellent place to stay for us and our family.

We had such a beautiful stay here. The location on the lake was perfect and staying here just for one day was such a special part of our trip. The room was great and full of character, very comfy bed and the hot tub was glorious. David and Maya were lovely hosts, very responsive and made our stay extra great. Would recommend to anyone visiting in Cape Town who wants a break from the hustle and bustle of the city!

Spectacular views.. a beyond beautiful home. Perfect location.. easy walk to the beach , swimming , restaurants and shops. Home was immaculate and the hosts were on the ball!

Had a lovely 10-day stay at Betttina's house. The house is spacious, clean, practical and can comfortably accommodate a large family (we were 7 adults and 2 small children). The pool and gardens are well maintained and on the same level as the house. Bettina is easily reachable and answered any questions we had, and also helped us find a private chef. Sim the housekeeper made our stay very comfortable and enjoyable and also helped with day to day queries and recommendations. Would definitely consider re-booking.
