We had a wonderful time at Preston's home; it truly felt like a cozy retreat. The Christmas decorations were delightful, and he added a lovely touch with all the treats he provided for us. Preston was incredibly attentive, quickly coming to our aid when we needed help with the heater. During our stay, we took a stroll and met some lovely neighbors who were friendly and enjoyable to chat with. I wholeheartedly recommend his place to anyone looking for a serene getaway. That view sure doesn't disappoint! The location was outstanding and the condo a perfect spot for a ski vacation at Hatley Pointe. I recommend visiting the resort or at least eat at Smoke & Timber. Sabrina was super responsive to all the messages to troubleshoot issues with appliances and what not. Love how they remodeled the condo. I actually kinda wished it was on the 2nd floor as the upstairs folks were pretty noisy coming in and out. Sounded as if they walked in wearing their ski boots, but was quiet other than that. So many deer in the neighborhood wearing their cute, fuzzy winter coats but easy to get in and out from the interstate. Will definitely return for family get-togethers in the area as the Appalachian trail is one of my bucket list items. What a great area.

We had an amazing time at loriel and Adam’s place. While the weather was windy/cold and we lost power for a few hours due to weather, the views were breathtaking. The house was only steps from a beautiful walking trail around the lake, and only minutes from shopping/restaurants in Waynesville. Even under these circumstances, loriel and Adam were very communicative. Highly recommend this place!

Margarets hospitality is beyond anything ive witnessed in my life. We stayed during hurricane Helene. Not only did she take care of every possible need in the beginning days before the hurricane, but when we escaped via helicopter and made it to her hometown she even offered up her own house for us to take refuge when all the hotels were booked and cooked dinner for us. Not saying you will have the same luxury, but this is the highest caliber person you could possibly do business with. The property has the most beautiful views I've ever seen in my life and the house is so immaculate, there is nowhere I'd rather be in the midst of disaster or a relaxing vacation. I literally experienced both. I will be coming back with a quickness as soon as the town is rebuilt, and the property was very resilient and mostly undamaged through the brutal storm, the elevation allows for protection against any flash floods. But yes the house is incredible and hosts very attentive to needs

This house is incredible! The views are really unforgettable. We took full advantage of the balcony and hot tub. The kitchen was stocked with everything you need. I love that all the rooms had their own full bathrooms and king beds (with the exception of the bunk bed room of course). Ashley provided a lot of helpful information and was very responsive when the power went out due to a big storm (there is a backup generator so we were fine!). We talked about making this an annual trip and would absolutely stay here again and again!

REPEAT RENTER! We have rented both houses on Gator Lane and could not have been happier. Cristina is great to work with and responds incredibly fast. We had to reschedule due to the hurricane and Cristina made it easy. This visit we sat outside on the deck, watched a hawk, and listened to the birds. It was so relaxing. The house is clean and has plenty of pots, pans and dishes. We really enjoyed our stay. Thanks Cristina.
