House vacation rentals in Horowhenua District

I had a wonderful stay at this property. It was very clean and tidy, and the swimming pool was well-kept. The location is great for activities like cycling and fishing. The only issue was the door code didn’t work initially, but Airbnb provided a new one promptly.

A fantastic home to relax by the pool and enjoy the sun. Great outdoor space and plenty of room in each bedroom. We were very comfortable here and would recommend Dianne’s home to others!

You will find this gem behind a long (and we mean loooong) drive way filled with local wildlife and greenery. It's beautiful, peaceful, serene, and relaxing. At night be prepared to see every star in the sky, and during the day enjoy the beautiful birds as they sing their many songs, and watch the rabbits run across the fields. It's not walking distance from any restaurants or stores, unless you absolutely LOVE to walk. But it's a short drive from Otaki's little downtown. I highly recommend this place.

Cecile’s home is very comfortable. The kitchen was well supplied, plenty of towels were provided, and the whole house was very clean. The outside areas were pleasant and green. We loved seeing sheep in the neighboring pasture. Cecile also left us cereal, milk, and bread for breakfast. Cecile’s place is a great.

Our family really enjoyed our stay. The whole place was amazing and the family loved the pool. The property exceeded our expectations and we would love to stay again.

Amazing property with stunning views and all the luxuries you could ask for! Well appointed, lots to entertain yourself with, comfy bedding, pristine cleanliness and beautiful furnishings. We loved our weekend away. Both Simon and Jo were fantastic hosts and the little welcome touches were just lovely! Can’t wait to stay again!

We had an absolutely wonderful girls weekend here. The view was stunning, the house was well laid out and spacious and had everything we needed. The spa, pool and tennis court were all well used, and the wonderful view made an amazing backdrop for the photos. Annie was super helpful and friendly and the place was exactly as described. Can’t recommend it highly enough :)

Tracey and Niels home is beautiful and we had a wonderful stay. The house is comfortable, well equipped and lots of lovely areas to sit and just chill. The pool and the games room as a bit hit with the kids. We had our wedding anniversary there on New Years Eve and it was a perfect place to host a memorable event with friends and family. Would recommend it to everyone looking for somewhere close to the beach and local shops and restaurants.

we had a comfortable stay , there are gorgeous views over the estuary at Foxton Beach from the lounge and conservatory, it lives up to it's name with views of the stunning sunsets ( weather permitting) but even in a thunderstorm it's a lovely place to stay❣️

We had a weekend getaway at Simon's Airbnb. The house was exactly as shown in the photos - clean and comfortable. Simon was quick to reply, accommodating of our groups needs and we had clear instructions on arrival. The location is awesome with beach access and a great outdoor space to relax. Highly recommend!

I would recommend Hannah’s house for those that want a cosy home away from the Main Street that is more comfortable than a motel. The house was spacious for our family of 4 (including two teenage boys), the dining area and lounge allow for separation so you’re not under each others feet, and the kitchen has the amenities you need. Hannah provided the basics for a family travelling including a milk in the fridge and the Nespresso machine for a coffee on arrival post our travel. There are a few condiments in the fridge and supplies in the pantry. The laundry was great so that we could do our washing mid-stay and there was plenty of linen for our trip. Being a short walk to town and the shops was also convenient. This was a welcome stay for us and a much better option than the motels on the highway. I would certainly recommend Hannah and her place to others in the future and will definitely rebook next time I’m visiting.

We had a wonderful stay at "Cozy Getaway in Waitārere Beach"! Clean, tidy, uncluttered and security excellent - creating a relaxing atmosphere. Conveniently close to the beach and dairy with a safe neighbourhood. Rongomaiaia is kind and incredibly responsive, even forgiving about a slight mishap we had during our stay. We loved that we could take our furbabies with us, and the place supported our eco-friendly lifestyle, ie: reduce waste, recycling and conserve water. Highly recommend for a comfortable and welcoming stay!

Alex’s place is the perfect Kiwi Bach experience. Well appointed and really family friendly. The kids toys were brilliant and loads of space. Alex was fast to communicate and give a heads up about it having shear curtains in the kids room prior to booking. It’s also super handy to the park, walk and cafe. The decking is also a highlight. We’d happily stay again!!

I booked a room with my friends for two days, but I had to go back to Auckland for medical treatment in advance due to health reasons. After I explained the situation to Miranda, she immediately replied to us and helped us make her best efforts to refund the money. I really appreciate it and I am also very touched that she is willing to help us and understand our difficulties! Highly recommended!

Even better than the photos! Hands down one of the best air bnbs I have had the pleasure of staying in. Most comfortable bed I have ever slept in.

This was an ideal spot to rest and use as a base for business I had in the area. The house is modern and simple, well insulated, and spotless with modern furnishings and a variety of kitchen items and appliances to use. Arriving on a cold afternoon to find that Barry had pre-heated the accommodation was a nice touch making the place warm and inviting. Clear instructions were left on the dining bench and Barry ensured that privacy was maintained by keeping his distance from his house immediately adjacent the accommodation. I would stay here again if I'm travelling back through the district.
