Unique 2 bed tranquil island house, patio, garden.

IsabelleRating, 5 stars10 months ago
Frank's place was a fantastic spot to explore Cheung Chau. We found it to be beautifully decorated, fitted with everything you could need, and hidden in the most peaceful area. The beach farther down Peak Road West was a great swimming spot and we really enjoyed the bbq outside. Worth the hike for sure!

Lake House with stunning sea view in Sai Kung

GloriaRating, 5 stars2 months ago
This beautiful home exceeded our expectations. Jean-Pierre and Dora are extremely proactive in making us feel welcome and were super helpful with whatever we needed. Their helper Charie is the warmest person you could ever ask for to greet you after a long journey. She is both available and discrete. The pictures on the listing do not do the house and the view justice. Highly recommended!

Two Bedroom Apt, Caine Rd, Mid-Levels

AndyRating, 5 stars1 month ago
I stayed here with my wife and daughter (toddler), and we really enjoyed our stay. It is really helpful to have a kitchen, washing machine, and extra room for the crib. The location is ideal with cafes, bakeries, restaurants, and even nightlife all so closely nearby while the entrance conveniently tucked away. Calvin was really helpful and responsive, even sending us some recommendations for our date night out. We would gladly stay here on our next trip back to HK!

I lived at Nida's place for almost three weeks. It's ideally located on the island, with everything at reach. Nida is a reactive and thoughtful host, and I'm really grateful to her for helping to make my stay in Hong Kong as smooth and pleasant as possible. I'll certainly be back if the opportunity arises !

Stylish cozy studio with roof

SergeyRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Everything was great, the location is good, close to Hollywood road, central market, etc. Everything is nearby. Everything is fine in the property, everything is clean, convenient, there is everything you need. Quite a big apartment for central and Hong Kong. For a family with 1 child, the very thing. It should be borne in mind that there is no elevator with large and heavy suitcases.

Renovated Apartment with 2 rooms - Kennedy Town!

TrangRating, 5 stars1 month ago
I stayed 10 days @ Laurent’s place over lunar new year. The location is super convenient: one block from the MTR station and one block from the wet market. A supermarket and 2 drugstores are across the street. The bank is right next door with ATM. The apartment has almost everything I need for the long stay. The space is good. There is elevator in the building and a guard. Only 2 things were not working: the safe and the espresso machine. I had to have instant coffee during the entire stay. I would stay again.

Pierre's apartment was perfect for our one week stay in Hong Kong. Located in a part of town that has easy access to public transport as well as being in walking range of great restaurants, bars and many small shops, it formed the perfect base from which to explore. The apartment itself is set up very conveniently.

Glamorous staycation home with stunning views

KwanRating, 5 stars1 month ago
We had a wonderful stay at Maria's. The home was nicely located - close enough to restaurants and shops, yet still felt very secluded and private at the same time. The view was amazing! Our kids enjoyed all the books, games, the trampoline, and the paddle pool. We walked to the beach and tried a new restaurant every day, then picked up grocery to make simple dinners at night. Besides some wear and tear, the home was exactly as described. Maria was very helpful and responsive whenever we had questions. At one point she sent help within minutes when we had trouble figuring out how to flush the toilet. All in all a wonderful staycation for our family!

Lantau Lodge

AndreasRating, 5 stars7 months ago
Great place to be, when in Hongkong. Admittedly, a 90 minute bus and metro ride into downtown, but you get the tranquility of a small village on Lantau with beautiful scenery, trails and beaches for it. I wish we would have stayed longer to experience this a. Little more. Michael is the perfect host, he took care of everything, detailed instructions on transportation, sites to visit, restaurant recommendations etc. he even took us with his car to the giant Buddha so we did not have to miss out on this during our very short stay. Thanks a lot, Michael, for all your efforts!

Holiday Let - Mui Wo, Lantau Island

MennaRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Fanny is such an amazing host, super helpful and extremely nice. She went above and beyond in every way. She insisted on picking us up from the pier, we had a lot of luggage, so she took our luggage first then came back to find us and took us home. The apartment is everything we wanted, even better than the pictures. The place is super clean, tidy, and has everything you might need, including all amenities and kitchen tools. It is well thought, with a keen eye to details, down to several coffee prep options for coffee lovers :) Fanny also helped us with a guidebook for Lantau, in addition to booking us a cab to take all our luggage to the airport The house is a 15 min walk from the pier (where restaurants, bigger super markets are), but the walk is scenic and refreshing. A small portion of the walk is very slightly up hill, you'll barely notice it. The house is surrounded by scenic mountains and greenery, offering a great view with your morning coffee from the terrace Highly recommend.

Your guide to Hong Kong

All About Hong Kong

Bustling Hong Kong is far more than a megacity and financial capital: Located on southeastern corner of Mainland China, it comprises hundreds of islands, the Kowloon Peninsula, and the New Territories. Set amid rolling hills, soaring mountains, and the glistening waters of the South China Sea, the urban landscape of Hong Kong shows many different faces. Sparkly skyscrapers are ringed by narrow alleyways full of shops and markets, and throughout the city, you’ll find remnants of Hong Kong’s past as a British colony, mixed with its Cantonese heritage.

Here, historic buildings have been transformed into upscale shopping malls, and Buddhist temples peek out between high-rise apartment buildings. Beyond the buzzing activity of Hong Kong and Kowloon, you’ll find jaw-droppingly beautiful scenery, including lush forests, white-sand beaches, and even the ruins of 19th-century villages.

The best time to stay in a vacation rental in Hong Kong

A petty little issue like weather does not slow Hong Kong down. During the summer, the city is a steambath; however, most places are air-conditioned, providing a chance to cool down quickly. Although summer is the monsoon season, the hard rains pass quickly, so most days are still filled with sunshine. The lovely weather in spring and fall make for a great time to explore Hong Kong’s hiking trails or head to the beach on one of the Outlying Islands. Winter can get a little chilly but don’t worry — you will only need to throw on a sweater or light jacket.

Top things to do in Hong Kong

Victoria’s Peak

Take the iconic Hong Kong tram up the mountain to Victoria’s Peak, high above Central. From the peak, you can see both Hong Kong Island and Kowloon. If you’re feeling hardier, you can also hike up to the peak on the Old Peak Road, a well-maintained walkway that passes by beautiful historic mansions and offers expansive vistas along the way.

Mong Kok

The bustling, ever-crowded Mong Kok neighborhood is home to several markets selling all manner of necessities, from fresh seafood to homewares. As you wander the crowded streets, the swaggering smells of stinky tofu and fish balls fill the air. This is Hong Kong at its most raw, buzzing with cacophonous noise, conversation, and culinary prowess.

Dragon’s Back

While Hong Kong offers endless hiking trails, one of the most famous is the Dragon’s Back. This stunning trail takes you up and over the tree-covered Shek O Peak to the southern shore of Hong Kong Island. It finishes at Big Wave Bay, where you can go for a quick swim in the South China Sea to cool down and then seek out fresh seafood.
