Eddie and his team were exceptionally accommodating, especially in assisting with an Amazon package delivery. The interior of the space is immaculate, equipped with essentials for preparing basic meals. The beds are incredibly comfortable, and the bathroom is well-appointed; however, it's advisable to bring a hair dryer if you need one. The surrounding area, however, is not the most inviting. Many buildings nearby appear aged, with rust, boarded-up windows, and a general sense of neglect. It’s clear that this part of Wichita Falls has seen better days, with infrastructure that feels worn down and in need of revitalization. While I never felt unsafe, the area doesn’t have much to offer in terms of aesthetics or attractions. That being said, the Airbnb itself was a perfect retreat. My son, who is stationed at Sheppard AFB, was homesick, and this cozy space gave him a much-needed break from base life. It was a great weekend, and I appreciate the hospitality of our hosts.

This place was a hidden jewel. I was able to park inside which made it so easy for me to unload my things as well as making me feel secure. The rooms were cozy and inviting and I immediately felt right at home. Faye has gone above and beyond to provide for every need. My stay was extremely relaxing and I would recommend booking the Howery Hideaway any time you are in the area. Faye was amazing and I really appreciated her hospitality.

Honestly the BEST air BnB I’ve stayed in. The house was so clean and maintained. The host was very responsive and thorough especially for a last minute booking. Great location. We rented both sides of the duplex and it was perfect for us and our kids. The little arcade on one side was great! Will definitely be staying there again!

I can’t say enough about this amazing place! For us, the location and accommodations could not have been better, for what we were in Wichita Falls to do… and that was to help our beautiful family. We cooked a lot, we made breakfast, lunch and dinners for our incredible family, who lives 2 blocks away. With a wonderfully equipped kitchen, a fantastic gas grill out back, we were able to support our family with delicious meals. My sister and I prepared great dinners and we were able to have sit down dinners together. This beautiful home is so comfortable, well equipped and so easy to just hang out. It was a great way for my sister and I to re-connect and spend some quality time together and with our extended family. Although we were exhausted at the end of our week, having the comforts of this beautiful home made our task at hand so enjoyable. This was an amazing respite and gave us the tools we needed to make a difference for our family. The hosts were amazing. We will be back❤️

Had an amazing week here. Felt like home away from home. 10 min drive to Sheppard AFB. Centrally located. We came for Thanksgiving week and the home had all the amenities needed to cook a huge meal. Susan was absolutely wonderful. She really went out of her way to ensure our stay was a success. Would highly recommend. She was the hostess with the mostest from beginning to end. A flawless stay.

Charming home with plenty of space. Pleasantly surprised there was toys and items for the kiddos!! Close to major highways and easy access restaurants and shopping areas. House is well appointed to make you feel at home!! Thank you for having us!
