Ski-in/Ski-out vacation rentals in Hol Municipality

The house in Hemsedal was really cozy and wonderfully decorated with different and inspiring areas for coziness and relaxation. Functional with plenty of space and good kitchen, as well as 2 nice bathrooms. Nina was - as a host - very helpful and quick with communication. It was nicely decorated with Christmas trees and charming decorations, as well as fresh flowers.

We stayed 4 nights in Lisa's cabin. We had a great time. The cabin is well equipped, clean and the skilift is only a few minutes walk away. Highly recommended if you want a cosy place to stay in Hemsedal.

Our stay here was incredible. We booked for 4 people but this place could easily accommodate 8. The place was clean and tidy and offered everything we needed and more, with beautiful surroundings and a private and authentic feel. Things like extra towels, a pantry with some basic items like rice and pasta, food in the freezer and an easy to use washing machine and dryer really made us feel well looked after. We stayed when temperatures were between -10 and -18 Celsius but the house always felt cosy. The nearest Ski bus stop is a 7-10 minute walk away and the nearest supermarket and ‘town’ area are a 25 minute walk away. If you enjoy walking then the location is fine but we opted to hire a car from the airport to use for our transfers which I would highly recommend. This made collecting ski hire, shopping and travelling to the different slopes much easier as there is lots of parking areas. 10/10 stay. I have already recommended to friends and family.

The host is really nice and helpful. When we needed help, he was there immediately. The house is very marked by the fact that it is a “real” home, where there are actually local residents out of the season. It gives a very homely touch, which we found cozy. For example, cabinets and drawers were filled with private items; toys, mobile chargers, ski glasses, and all sorts of trinkets. However, for example, the kitchen was a little fun equipped: 6 pots, but no lids. Huge Walk in fridge, but no toaster, electric kettle or microwave. And so still. Well, yes; and then on day 6, we found out that there was another family living in the basement. 😂 If you want an IKEA equipped clinical rental, this is not the place for you. But if you want an authentic home with OUTSTANDING views and a great host, then this is the place for you, Thank you so much Alexander for a great stay!

A simply wonderful place to enjoy the Norwegian upland, with ski trails from the door, super floor heating, warm historic vibe, and a comfy couch. It has two tables that seat six, a kitchen with tools, utensils and servingware to cook for a crowd of 12 (or more) and serve them coffee and wine, and a dishwasher for cleanup. It’s very well-equipped—like visiting an aunt with one of everything—so there was a right-sized ski pole when we broke one, an extra pulk and harness, plastic sleds for a small army of children, extra ski wax and tools, and the mudroom has long benches for booting on/off, and tons of hooks for hanging outerwear. When wood for the fireplace ran low, Bengt responded quickly.and had it delivered. There are tons of books in the Nordic languages as well as English on many topics including the local area and beyond. The market in Ustaoset is a short walk/ski, and Geilo was easy to reach by bus, train, or taxi for stores, dining, or a downhill ski. Love. This. Place.

Another wonderful stay. This was our 2nd visit to this apartment and it didn’t disappoint. Beautiful apartment in the centre of Geilo. Above some shops, although there is absolutely no disturbance whatsoever. It’s so quiet and peaceful, with stunning views from every window. Super warm and cosy. Free parking in a private carpark under the complex, easy to find and really safe. We wouldn’t hesitate to visit again.

A lovely apartment, really clean and well heated. It was very close to the ski lifts so we didn’t have to walk far! Lene is great and always responded fast if we needed anything. Thank-you for a great stay!

Eirik's place was beautiful and could not have been located in a better spot. It was easy to cross country ski right from the door and Hemsedal ski resort was only a few minutes walk away. As a host, Eirik was very responsive and helped us out while we were there. I'd love to stay again.

The apartment is small but equipped and practical. The location is great, especially if you are traveling to Geilo without a car, as we did. The area is also peaceful and calm. Tastefully decorated apartment. We have now been there twice and would love to come again. Thanks for us!

We had a great weekend in the apartments and at Geilo. The apartments were cozy and there was plenty of room for 2 adults and 2 children. The apartment is well equipped with what you need for your stay.

What a wonderful place! The house is super cozy and very stylishly decorated. Very likeable that we were allowed to use all the stuff, such as cross-country skis. And the little cabin was also super nice to read a book by the fire. There are other houses around the house, but there is plenty of privacy. Good base for cross-country skiing (right from the house) and to ski in Geilo and take a husky-slee tour. And then go to the sauna. In short: recommended. We loved our week at Christian's cottage. The cottage was very comfortable and cozy, everything you need was present. It was also a good base for many beautiful trips! We rafted at Dagali, made beautiful hiking tours over the Hardangervidda and Halingskarvet. What a beautiful nature! And in Geilo very cozy traditional Norwegian eaten at Hallingstuene. Wonderful holiday week!

We had a wonderful week at Randi’s cabin. 4 adults 6 kids shared the space with plenty of room. The cabin is beautifully decorated and has everything you could possibly need for your stay. Randi left helpful instructions and was on hand for any extra assistance The cabin is a short drive to all the ski resorts and has a convenient side entry into a boot room for all your wet gear. I can’t recommend it highly enough. Wonderful

Cozy cabin with plenty of space for 2 families with children 6-13 years. Plus our dog was welcome too. We were both cross-country skiing to Myrland and downhill by the ski center in the neighborhood, little with very nice and suitable with people.

incredibly cozy cabin/annex to rent. all kinds of amenities were in close area and not long way to ski slopes. very tidy and cozy place. extra good with the sauna after a long day on the slopes. recommended and will be back next time. 🌟🌟🌟

We stayed At Sverre’s place for two nights and honestly wish it could have been longer. The place is beautiful, welcoming and extremely well thought out. The small touches to the building really make this place special. If you’re looking at book somewhere and you’re still on the fence about this place, just book it. The kitchen is well equipped, the bathroom is lovely, bed super comfy and the living/dining area is cozy. Would absolutely stay again.

We really enjoyed our stay at Ragna's Airbnb. The location is great—not far from the ski slopes. Ragna communicated well and was very helpful, providing useful advice for our stay. We would highly recommend the house to anyone considering a visit in the future.

Adorable stay in a cozy house! We spent 2 nights in a group of two family couples and there was enough space for all of us. The kitchen is fully equipped including dishwasher. We also enjoyed the fireplace and barbecue. Thank you so much, will definitely come again!
