Vacation rentals in Hiva Oa

This has set the bar by which all other stays I do will be judged. The level of communication and help is what I would expect from a 5 star hotel, including helping with arranging transportation (and providing it when no taxis were available). This was a fantastic location and I couldn't have been happier with my stay.

Hermine was super adorable; she had to be away on Thahiti but TEATA was there to pick us up from the airport and show us the bungalow. Great kindness from Teata and great responsiveness when we found ourselves stuck outside (our fault); Teata came to help us very quickly. The garden is beautiful (avocados, mangoes, lemons, caramboles, just reach out) all nature is at your feet. Hermine's car delivery service was also great! Thank you for hosting us

Hermine very present and concerned about hospitality. It offers interesting outings and facilitates the smooth running of the stay.

Gerard ensures the airport transfer for free and gives plenty of information about the ride. Everything is provided in the trunk of the 4x4 except the cooler and the ice packs. Since the temperatures are high, it's necessary. Good communication with Gerard who does everything to make the stay go smoothly.

I confirm all the positive reviews that made me choose this place!! Isabelle was excellent! Thoughtful, a great help in organizing my 3 days, without her it would have been much more complicated! The place is quiet with magnificent views of the bay, it's great! Thank you for this stay at yours, for the advice, for the last-minute booking and for the small discussions. It's very nice to stay with people like you!! I won't forget to turn on the lamp under the water at night in Tuamotu ;)

The house is beautiful. Fully equipped and spacious. It is very comfortable to live in and a beautiful terrace with a large table will allow a wonderful view of the ocean. Air conditioning was only in one bedroom, there was a fan in the other room. The location of the house is up a pretty steep hill, which could be an issue for people with poor mobility. Marylin was always at hand and her son or husband has always helped us with our bags. The place is in the center of the village, close to the store and all the local action. There is a semi-automatic washing machine, which comes in handy. The owner only communicates in French, but google translate helped. They will help you arrange airport trasfer and recommend car rental or excursion contacts. Beware of turning on the appliances (washer, air conditioning, and toaster), we were able to throw the main breaker, but everything was fixed in a while. The stay here was lovely and I highly recommend it.

Beautiful, modern home with fully stocked kitchen. Bedrooms are spacious with private bathrooms, and airconditioning units in each room. Outside has multi -level terraces, shaded, with comfortable patio furniture and dining area, and the swimming pool. Overall well maintained. Beautiful views and peaceful. We were welcomed by Tui and his wife Tahia, who showed us around, and felt right at home. Excellent stay and would recommend!
