Lake house vacation rentals in Hill Country Village

Highly recommend! We spent several wonderful days enjoying this property – relaxing on the upper deck and around the areas closer to the water. We enjoyed watching the deer roam around the property and watching our dog watch the deer. We also saw lots of monarch butterflies and a fox. The view of the lake is beautiful, and the property is so serene. We were also pleased at how many great restaurants there were in the area. Pamela and her son, Sam, were very nice and helpful and responsive.

This location was perfect and beautiful! Very affordable for the area! Such sweet kind responsive hosts! The home was well stocked and very clean! Very spacious home we slept 9 very comfortably!

The weather and time of year wasnt worth the value of the amenities did not get to use pool it which made it seem quite expensive. The space was ample. We spent most of time upstairs near kitchen and balcony . Did not have complete access to movie watching unless we were already users or had our own accounts . He was very responsive though, spiral stair case not good for pets who are not familiar with that we had to use outside stairwell each time going up and down . It was raining throigh out our stay overall i would rate this place a high four

Our stay at Shelley's place was lovely! The house is so spacious, was sparkling clean, and had everything we needed. We enjoyed the grill and amazing views. It's located in a quiet and peaceful area, perfect to relax and have a good night's sleep. When I first saw the listing, I was a bit concerned about how comfortable the sofa bed in bedroom 4 would be. It turned out that I picked this room for me and my husband: it's spacious, has its own bathroom and the bed is VERY comfy, in addition to the best views! The other bedrooms were also great, cozy and with perfect levels privacy. Everyone was incredibly pleased with the accommodations. Communication with Shelley was excellent, she is a fantastic host!

I booked a week-long stay here to work remotely with a change of scenery in beautiful Canyon Lake, Texas. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at this incredible lake house just a few minutes walk from the water with lake views from multiple points on the property. The kitchen was stocked with all the necessities and the house was thoughtfully decorated and equipped with all the amenities I needed to call it home for the 7-day stay. The host was responsive when questions arose. Highly recommend to anyone looking to stay in the area!

The home was so beautiful and relaxing perfect getaway for my birthday trip. The views were amazing! We had a little personal zoo from the animals seen deer, raccoon, cats, and a hog lol! Love the house would definitely love to be back!

Our family had such an amazing time staying here! The beds were very comfy, and we loved waking up and eating breakfast next to the river. Even though the house is old, the lakefront view is the best feature of this property.

Enjoyed our stay. Clean and had everything we needed. We loved the back porch and that the house was dog friendly.

Minus a few hiccups (no coffee, and TV remotes did not work the televisions), the stay was amazing. Lake is low but host and pictures show this already. House was amazing and allowed us to enjoy time together and have our own personal space! The sunsets were an awesome addition as well.

We had a lovely stay at this location. Hill country is really pretty and there is probably a lot to explore around devil's backbone and the nearby lake. We appreciated the large family area and kitchen in this house and even snapped a few family photos with nearby nature backgrounds.

Everything about the stay was wonderful. There were many in-house activities we enjoyed. The hot tub and darts were definitely our favorites. Perfect location between San Antonio and Austin. The deer were so cute too! Everything was perfectly clean when we arrived and we had no issues checking in whatsoever. I adore the decor too. It was a beautiful place to be and a wonderful experience. We are very grateful to have found this home!

House was clean, big backyard with cool swimming pool which the kids loved. It was pet friendly so we were able to bring our dogs wich was big plus. Quiet and peaceful neighborhood. HEB and other restaurants near by. Would stay again.

My wife and I have stayed in many Airbnb's over the years, and I think this one has been my favorite. The property was beautiful, well-appointed with necessities and amenities, and was both spacious and cozy during our long weekend there. Anita, our hostess, was kind, accommodating, responsive, and a pleasure to deal without throughout the process. We are already plotting our return, which is the best recommendation I can give...

What a lovely place for my family to come together for Thanksgiving week. Coming from all over, we all wanted to stay together and this was the perfect location. The upstairs bedrooms with attached baths are perfect for adult couples. My daughter's family with 15 month old enjoyed the cottage. The living area upstairs has a foldout couch that would work for kids. The room is open to the stairs, so not a bedroom. We enjoyed the well appointed kitchen. There was room for 4 or 5 in there together, and the sitting area adjoining is a great place to sit and be a part of the action. Great for feeding kids early also. We really enjoyed watching the mamas and baby sheep moving around the lake bed, maybe more than if there had been water! The yard is large with a tree swing. We didn't get to use the firepit because of burn bans but enjoyed the fireplace in the living room. There are good walking areas to drive to around the lake. This is a beautifully decorated, cozy home.

We had a men’s retreat in Austin for the week and spent two nights at Sam’s place. 7 guys and we LOVED IT!! Such a unique house and setting. The hot tub and heated pool was a hit. Even took a cold plunge into the river! Great place to hangout and watch a game on the big screen. Highly recommend it!!

We had our wedding in this airbnb and it has so much space the photos don’t do it justice! The views are gorgeous and much bigger in person! It felt very private and safe. We would definitely recommend this property to any of our family and friends!

Booked a long weekend with some girlfriends to just read, and it was exactly what we had in mind! The second level had a great spot to lounge with a view and the living room had very comfortable seating as well. We also enjoyed an evening walk at the park nearby. We would definitely stay here again!
