Lake house vacation rentals in Hill Country Village

Highly recommend! We spent several wonderful days enjoying this property – relaxing on the upper deck and around the areas closer to the water. We enjoyed watching the deer roam around the property and watching our dog watch the deer. We also saw lots of monarch butterflies and a fox. The view of the lake is beautiful, and the property is so serene. We were also pleased at how many great restaurants there were in the area. Pamela and her son, Sam, were very nice and helpful and responsive.

Our stay was absolutely incredible. We booked this trip for a Christmas getaway and to make vision boards for the new year. We felt refreshed and comfortable staying in this beautiful home. It was a bit confusing at first to understand how to pull in for parking but it was very simple once we figured it out! The lake was absolutely stunning and peaceful. There's also nearby restaurants and a place to play pickleball. The location feels like you're in your own little town. We ran into two maintenance issues (one completely out of anyone's control) but Jen was so responsive and everything was resolved quickly! We loved our stay and hope to stay again in the future.

Our stay at Shelley's place was lovely! The house is so spacious, was sparkling clean, and had everything we needed. We enjoyed the grill and amazing views. It's located in a quiet and peaceful area, perfect to relax and have a good night's sleep. When I first saw the listing, I was a bit concerned about how comfortable the sofa bed in bedroom 4 would be. It turned out that I picked this room for me and my husband: it's spacious, has its own bathroom and the bed is VERY comfy, in addition to the best views! The other bedrooms were also great, cozy and with perfect levels privacy. Everyone was incredibly pleased with the accommodations. Communication with Shelley was excellent, she is a fantastic host!

The house is great for large families. Plenty of rooms, large living room fun boat dock by the water and water toys for days. We had a wonderful stay and would stay here again!!!!!

We had a wonderful stay with our family at this home. We absolutely enjoyed the beautiful view of the water, and loved utilizing the outdoor spaces. The home was very clean, has nice amenities, is spacious and very comfortable! The host responded quickly to texts even on a holiday! This was greatly appreciated since the other home we rented for the holiday was not suitable for our family. We cannot say enough good things about the this house!

Hands down best place I've stayed at so far. Just as advertised. One thing I do recommend to future guests is be ready to climb. I knew there was stairs but didn't know how many. I'm a heavy set guy so I tried to do everything in one run to avoid having to climb stairs too often. So if you're in shape then no biggies. Other than that quite a beautiful place.

Excellent stay! Even thouhj the lake is dry, we had a blast exploring the dry lake bed and just lounging around the house. The hosts were wonderful - quick to respond and so accommodating! Great spot for our 3 families for a long weekend.

Tim was a wonderful host. He was responsive during the holiday and that is extremely appreciated. The lake was significantly lower than expected but nothing can be done about Texas drought! Overall, me and my family had a great time and got to see a lot of wildlife!

Our group of 6 had a great time ringing in the new year at the Kickback Cove! The kitchen had all the things I didn’t think to bring (aluminum foil, spices, oil) and all the dishes we needed. The house had great features like a record player, an Alexa, and a Willie Nelson nook with cowboy boot shot glasses. But by far our favorite part was the outdoor area with a covered patio, a fire pit (complete with wood, fire starters, and marshmallow sticks), and the relaxing hot tub. We loved our stay here and Denise was super responsive before, during, and after our stay. Highly recommend!

Melissa was responsive and proactive with instructions. The backyard was beautiful and deer ate right out of your hands. Melissa provided nearby things to do and see.

The lake house was wonderful for my wife, son and I. We swam, fished and enjoyed the starlit dock. David was very helpful and welcoming. We will certainly be back soon!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The place was extremely clean and very well appointed. We spent most of our time at the fire pit and outside areas and felt at peace. Jay was super responsive to all our needs and easy to contact. We definitely recommend to anyone looking for a quick getaway.

We love our stay! We were in town for the Formula 1 race at CoTA and this location was great with minimal traffic in between. We did accidentally lock ourselves out with the child lock (user error) but Nelma was so helpful and responded quickly and helped us get back inside. We would love to stay again.

A perfect getaway for large groups! . Very private and has enough space for everyone. The views and location were amazing. Sean was a very proactive and quick to respond to any questions we had. Will 100% recommend.

I enjoyed my stay and so did the rest of my guest. The home and host speak for themselves. The home was nice, i really appreciated the towels being displayed not having to search for anything. Even blankets when using the common area. The host answered any and all questions. Also they allowed feedback and which is thoughtful. I would stay again and so would any of my guest. Thank you! I hope this isn’t the last we see of one another. Also shout out to you for having the necessary equipment in the home and for the backyard (grill/ fire bit) that was awesome!

One of the rare view listings that advertise an entire home and its ACTUALLY A HOME, lol, not a condo, or apartment or "tiny home". Joni was fantastic and all the little extras were perfect. The view at sun set is simply not something I can describe. "Zen House In The Woods" EXACTLY describes this place. The ONLY thing I heard while I was there was the planes and helicopters. Very little to no traffic in front of the space. It also has the most amazing tub and even a fancy bidet. It is also a VERY family friendly with games and things and a dedicated little area for kids. The porch has a grill, and outdoor dining table which was all set and ready to go! A +++. The location was extremely clean.

The area this home is in is very beautiful! It is woodsy and hilly. The home is very cute and well designed. I appreciate all of the detail and thought that went into the interior design, it has a Joanna Gaines vibe. There are a lot of cute local shops nearby and local restaurants. I appreciate the list posted in the kitchen for places to go, it was very helpful! The host was friendly and communicated well and gave detailed instructions for everything needed. We drove to see Canyon Lake around sunset and it was beautiful and peaceful. Overall, it was a great experience!

Cathryn’s place was really nice with a beautiful view. She was very responsive prior to the visit and also during if we needed any assistance. Her place is well maintained and between her library collection and games —- great family hang out. Highly recommend
