Lake house vacation rentals in Hill Country Village

Highly recommend! We spent several wonderful days enjoying this property – relaxing on the upper deck and around the areas closer to the water. We enjoyed watching the deer roam around the property and watching our dog watch the deer. We also saw lots of monarch butterflies and a fox. The view of the lake is beautiful, and the property is so serene. We were also pleased at how many great restaurants there were in the area. Pamela and her son, Sam, were very nice and helpful and responsive.

Our stay was absolutely incredible. We booked this trip for a Christmas getaway and to make vision boards for the new year. We felt refreshed and comfortable staying in this beautiful home. It was a bit confusing at first to understand how to pull in for parking but it was very simple once we figured it out! The lake was absolutely stunning and peaceful. There's also nearby restaurants and a place to play pickleball. The location feels like you're in your own little town. We ran into two maintenance issues (one completely out of anyone's control) but Jen was so responsive and everything was resolved quickly! We loved our stay and hope to stay again in the future.

Our stay at Shelley's place was lovely! The house is so spacious, was sparkling clean, and had everything we needed. We enjoyed the grill and amazing views. It's located in a quiet and peaceful area, perfect to relax and have a good night's sleep. When I first saw the listing, I was a bit concerned about how comfortable the sofa bed in bedroom 4 would be. It turned out that I picked this room for me and my husband: it's spacious, has its own bathroom and the bed is VERY comfy, in addition to the best views! The other bedrooms were also great, cozy and with perfect levels privacy. Everyone was incredibly pleased with the accommodations. Communication with Shelley was excellent, she is a fantastic host!

Lacey’s place was nothing short of amazing! Easily accessible, very clean and tons of things to do at the lake house! We enjoyed the kayaks, and fishing, and hiking. The ONLY thing that was a bummer was getting to the boat dock. Due to the low water levels, we had to walk down several stairs to get to it, which was stressful with a toddler. All in all, we enjoyed our stay, Lacey was quickly responsive and even checked on us the morning after our first night to ensure we were comfortable and set up.

Opinions: River access made easy. The place was beautiful, warm/felt like home, and was nicely decorated. Looks like the photos. The king bed in the master suite was acceptable from comfort standards. The linens were nice. AC worked. The living room couch was great! We'd stay here again. FACTS: - 7-minute drive to HEB. - There were no sheet pans or baking dishes in the kitchen. - Cozi Vacation Rentals notified us that no one was staying there the day before our arrival. They offered 50% off to book that date. We declined. - We asked Cozi rentals to check in two hours early (2pm instead of 4pm), since no one was there. They quoted us an early check-in fee of $70.00. We declined. - Master bathroom door is a barn door - house is at the end of a narrow cul-de-sac - floor fans provided - Garage access is prohibited

Airbnb Review: A Perfect Holiday Retreat for the Whole Family We had the pleasure of staying at this beautiful Airbnb from December 22nd to December 28th, and it was truly a magical experience! My wife, Monica, and I stayed here with our four children, my mom, dad, sister, and her teenage son. The house had plenty of space for everyone to relax, do their own thing, and still come together for quality family time. The movie theater was a hit with the kids and teens, giving them their own cozy space to enjoy their favorite films. Meanwhile, the adults enjoyed unwinding by the fire pit, where making s’mores under the stars became a memorable holiday tradition. Our Christmas dinner on the BBQ grill was an absolute highlight. I stayed at Debbie’s lake house with friends and family over New Years and we were impressed. Her home is well finished with a stocked kitchen and large enough sofa to lounge. We all travel together frequently to AirBnB rentals and everyone in our group commented that this home was one of the cleanest we’ve rented. Hot tub, fireplace, board games, views of the lake, outdoor kitchen and a large kitchen for family meals…a great setting for quality time with your group. Note is there aren’t TVs in the bedrooms, so you may want to bring a tablet if you like to watch tv in bed. We would rent here again!

We made some amazing memories at the Quiet Cove! Having access to kayaks, paddle board , and fishing from the dock made our stay so much fun. We ended each day around the fire out on the porch with a guitar, diving with the family. The house is super well stocked which made us feel like we were visiting a friend’s home, not just a rental. Thank you for an incredible stay.

We loved our stay. Lots of space inside and outside. Activities for all ages. Everything was provided. Comfortable beds, couches and recliners to watch the river run by. Thank you for thinking of everything. Hope to come back on our next visit to Texas.

Very neat place! Feels like an upscale cabin on the inside, very roomy. The location is easy to get to and convenient to all of New Braunfels. I don’t normally care about furniture but it’s worth mentioning that their furniture was extremely comfortable. Easy check in and out. We would definitely stay again.

Nicely appointed, very clean and beautiful spot! Denise was a great communicator and even arranged for an earlier check in when our plans had us in the area a few hours earlier than expected.

Planned a weekend getaway with my partner here and it was the perfect place to relax and star gaze! Space was clean and looked just like the photos and the hosts were responsive when we arrived (our code didn't work but they were able to get that fixed in 2mins). Beautiful private location with great local restaurants (our favorite was Wildflour Artisan Bakery & Grill). Also close enough to take a day trip to Austin and San Antonio. Highly recommend and will book again at a future date!

Perfect home rental for my family as we were attending a wedding. Home was easy for my older in-laws to use without any difficulties for their mobility getting in and out of the home. The wedding venue was 10 minutes away at Villa Antonia. The hotel accommodations for the wedding was 45 minutes away so this home rental was a lot more convenient for us compared to the rest of the wedding party (including the bride and groom!).

We had a fantastic stay at this Airbnb! The host was wonderfully responsive, quick to reply, and so polite—it really made the experience special. The house was beautiful, spotlessly clean, and had such a peaceful feel that made relaxing easy. I’d absolutely recommend this place to anyone looking for a great getaway. Melissa was amazing as well, very responsive and polite, felt right at home.

We stayed here for a month while working on the lake and really enjoyed being able to come back to a peaceful place. Often there were deer passing by. Sunsets and sunrises are amazing! Has a family feel to the place.

Tim was a wonderful host. He was responsive during the holiday and that is extremely appreciated. The lake was significantly lower than expected but nothing can be done about Texas drought! Overall, me and my family had a great time and got to see a lot of wildlife!

Loved this beautiful home. The owners are passionate about family and gatherings. Decor was aesthetically gorgeous yet cosy. Made fun memories in the kitchen cooking delicious meals, game room was a lot of fun, enjoyed a seafood boil outside in the patio, lounged around the pool area, and watched movies in the living room. Loved the individual showers in the restrooms, conveniently close to HEB, neighbors were friendly during our morning runs. A lot of land and very private. Hilda was a super responsive and kind property manager who quickly answered all our questions and was tremendously accommodating. When we asked if there were additional paper towels and kitchen counter spray, she quickly dropped it off. Also, when the internet company had wifi issues, Hilda and the owner got it resolved asap! A few area of improvements are to improve the strength of the gas stovetop to make cooking for a large family quicker and add more paper towels. Overall highly recommend!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The place was extremely clean and very well appointed. We spent most of our time at the fire pit and outside areas and felt at peace. Jay was super responsive to all our needs and easy to contact. We definitely recommend to anyone looking for a quick getaway.

We loved staying at Joni's beautiful house again.. So quiet and beautiful location. The back porch is the width of the house with plenty of seating and table to eat while enjoying nature. We loved sitting on the porch in the mornings drinking our coffee and listening to all the different birds and occasional dear that pad through the yard.. Such a great view. We will be back.

The house was a great place for a girl trip. We just hung out there for a few days and one day drove to Gruene for a day of shopping and eating. The porch was a great place to drink coffee in the morning and have a cocktail in the evening. The furniture throughout the house was comfortable. The kitchen and dining area was very spacious. We would definitely stay here again.
