Self-catering Cottage in the suburbs of Swellendam, equipped with solar power and a back-up generator so you are never in the dark. For those who have a love of animals, then you'll love your stay. Our resident donkeys, sheep & chickens will happily greet you, and when in season our towering pecan nut trees will drop their gifts for you to pick up & enjoy. Melk Houte Bosch Guest Farm The Farmhouse

The Farmhouse boasts an open plan, full kitchen, dining area, a cozy living room with air conditioning, free wi-fi, a fireplace, DSTV, a separate games room with table tennis & indoor braai area along with 3 spacious bedrooms that comfortably accommodate 6 people. There is also a splash pool that is filled with water straight from the river & due to all the tannins in the water, it has a brown colour. The Farmhouse is equipped with a gas stove & inverter, so loadshedding will not affect you.

The Melkstal

Experience the Farm Life at "Die Melkstal" Guesthouse! Our quaint guesthouse started its life as a three point cow milking parlor in the early 80's. The parlor has been converted into a three bedroom self catering guesthouse. Being situated 12km from the nearest town of Heidelberg Western Cape, Die Melkstal is fairly close to the Route 62 and the start of the Garden Route. With little to no selfone signal or Wi-Fi, you can relax and unwind without distractions!

The Blue Cow Barn - Ansie Cottage

The Blue Cow Barn Accommodation is situated on a working farm, 1km from Barrydale town centre. Our farm has gone through many seasons - from a fruit farm to a dairy farm and now a guest farm. Our cottages are named after the cows that were part of the dairy and Ansie was our first cottage and oldest cow. You'll love this cottage for its view of the garden, quiet surroundings and our hot tub addition.

The architect-designed house mixes inside/outside space with plenty of room for family.. Explore wetland, river and the Langeberg mountains. With plenty of comforts this spot is paradise for children, dogs and a retreat for adults.

Heidelberg is a very historical town,with many old historical buildings.The historical buildings are all numbered and you can do a nice walk and visit them and learn about the history of these houses and buildings.There's 6 history buildings in our street,so when staying with us its all close by.

The Studio @ The Place

Escape to our retreat for nature lovers, in the magical untouched Klein Karoo, easily accessible from Route62 and the N2. The Studio is comfortable, modern and open plan with private shaded outdoor seating, spectacular views, a plunge pool and free wifi. It sleeps 4 plus two children.

Countryside relaxation at this peaceful and centrally located self-catering farm style cottage on a historic estate in Swellendam. The Glen is home to the Ten Einde racehorse stud, borders the Marloth nature reserve and is walking distance from Swellendam town centre.
