Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Hessen

This is an adorable cottage managed by lovely people. Thanks to Stephen, his partner, and his mother for their gracious hospitality! I am very grateful. This is a historic half-timber home with wood floors and stairs, high upstairs ceilings, and an updated interior. We found the bedding comfortable with bedroom blinds adjustable for sleep promotion, kitchen and bathrooms clean and stocked, patio delightful with sun and bird songs, and overall decor attractive and soothing. The air temperature is adjustable in the bedrooms and living room with both cooling and heating options. The coffee maker is a Nespresso type, and we appreciated the basketful of coffee pods and bottle of wine upon entry! This home is in a peaceful and safe location behind a locked gate with both the owner and the owner's mother to each side. The S-Bahn stop is a short walk away and will take you to central Frankfurt including Romer (download the RMVgo app to buy and load train tickets).

Everything was perfect for us, a very well-kept, lovingly furnished house with a fantastic garden. The house and the garden invite you to linger. You can take many great hikes in the area. Annette always responds very quickly and kindly. Thank you for having us as your guests.

We were in Stromberg with four adults and we enjoyed it very much. The house is very well and beautifully renovated and equipped with high-quality, thoughtful and aesthetic furniture and details. The welcome basket with fresh fruit and the chocolate on the bed were very thoughtful. Towels and linen were abundant. Dieter makes it very easy for his guests to feel comfortable quickly - not least because of his uncomplicated and open manner. Thank you very much.

We stayed there for the second time and felt right at home. It was a bit like coming home ☺️ the vacation home is super quiet and we were able to relax all around. The decor is very modern and you always have a great view of nature and the adjacent forest. The private sauna and the infrared cabin are also great! Here and there, there were a few spiders as residents in the house, which, however, cannot be avoided due to the proximity to nature. We were a little worried that we would have to pay extra for electricity (this was not the case during the first visit), because if you have a consumption above an unknown average value, you have to pay extra separately. But that wasn't the case with us. Otherwise, the contact with the hosts and especially the host Mira is always very friendly and you get a very quick answer to every question. We were even greeted with regional gifts ☺️ we would definitely come back!

The house conforms to the description in every respect. It is very pleasant, very comfortable, very quiet while being close to all amenities. We enjoyed the barbecue, heated pool, sauna and beautiful garden (and the singing of many birds!)

We were very pleased with our stay. The house corresponds to the description. Charm and coziness surpass these. Everything fits together wonderfully. We lived with our three dogs as a couple in the house, friends rented the smaller apartment at the house. Everything was clean, cozy and well equipped. We were able to walk away from the house with the dogs, the surroundings offer beautiful hiking opportunities. Since we arrived later than planned, check-in via the key box was perfect. Nevertheless, Helene inquired whether we arrived well. You feel absolutely welcome! We will be happy to come back!

Dagmar’s apartment was a perfect place for us to retreat and spend time together. The garden was an unexpected surprise for its size and peaceful nature. We enjoyed our evenings sitting under the beautiful trees. The apartment is well located for local wineries and we did a wonderful day trip into Heidelberg to explore. Only 40 minutes from Frankfurt. The apartment is well equipped and very clean and comfortable. Dagmar was an attentive host with great recommendations locally. Thank you for a wonderful stay ☺️

We had a very nice weekend in Anna's apartment. We were warmly welcomed first by the grandmother, then by the mother. The garden is a dream, everywhere there are very inviting seating areas. You can see that the garden is designed and maintained with a lot of love. The apartment is so super clean and everything is thought of. It is very tastefully decorated, you immediately feel comfortable. You can also hike directly from the mill. We can recommend Anna's apartment.

Was a great place to stay for hiking in the area. In a few minutes, you are at the outdoor pool and it was also not far to the pizzeria. The place had everything you need and left nothing to be desired.

The apartment was really great, nothing was missing. The balcony is worth its weight in gold. The beds are very comfortable and the bedroom cool. We did great bike tours with our e-bikes from Schönau. You can get from Neckasteinach to HD easily with the S-Bahn. Communication with Anne-Katrin was very good and always very prompt. We were also warmly welcomed on site. highly recommended.... if you don't mind the approx. 70 steps to the apartment.

The communications with Thomas was easy and quick We went for a long weekend in Winterberg to attend a bike festival and competition The appartment is located right next to the ski/bike park so really easy Everything we needed was there - Linens towels and the beds are really comfortable The appartment is within a big building - although probably a lot of rentals it was really quiet and we felt safe The access to the parking is not so direct but it is secure. Be careful it is 2m height max We would definitely stay here again

We were warmly welcomed by Ariane. We found the space even larger than shown in the photos. Really all the amenities and gadgets were present in the apartment and you can see that a lot of attention has been paid to make it super cozy and enjoyable. Travel books, large bed, Smart TV and coffee and bathroom items and many more handicrafts were present. It is a beautiful location for walks or as a starting point for (car/bike) trips in the Odenwald. From June, there is also a small swimming pool that you can use. In short, recommended.

Quiet, long weekend with fireplace and bathtub. Really nothing to complain about! Everything's great: Kitchen well equipped, spices, vinegar, dishwasher tablets, ZeWa, coffee, filter and much more there, even picking herbs on the front balcony. Bathroom with everything for bathing and showering, a dresser full of top towels in all sizes Living/dining room as in the photos, very cozy, bright and unspoiled view of the countryside Bedrooms (three of them!) with decent mattresses, linens, bedside table, reading lamps, candles, everything there, wonderful. Conclusion: 5 out of 5 stars

A fantastic Airbnb. Very quiet location with beautiful views. Popcorn and chips were also free for a great movie night. The apartment is much nicer than the pictures. Even a small Rituals set was available free of charge for booking. If you want to make your partner happy, you should definitely stay here! Overall a perfect stay! 🙏

Beautiful house and super furnished, kitchen has everything for cooking, enough blankets and pillows, games, books. Were 16 people and despite bad weather and a lot of time in the house there was enough room for everyone :) Fast very nice communication with Lilia!

Were there with a group of 5 friends and had a wonderful time. A well-equipped kitchen invites you to cook, after which you can end the day comfortably in front of the large oven. From the house, you can go directly into the forest. Everything clean, communication easy.

We had a great time in the vacation homes. Due to the good and fast communication with the hosts, questions were clarified very quickly. The apartments are lovingly furnished, very clean and cozy. I'd come back anytime :)

We had a great weekend at the place. The kitchen is well equipped. We grilled and were able to use the beautiful terrace. Ideal location for surrounding activities such as canoeing.

A fantastic accommodation, with a great garden that invites you to linger and take photos at this time of year. The mansion is in very good condition and was well cleaned. It offers plenty of space and sleeping arrangements to spend time there with several parties. Communication with Hand and Sylvia also worked smoothly, all around a great experience and a top service.

The house was very clean and everything was also available. The beautiful city center was within walking distance as well as several supermarkets. Torsten's mother takes care of the check-in (if you stand in front of the house, the mother lives to the left). Very friendly and accommodating and if any questions should arise, you could easily contact them.

Plenty of space, beautiful location and nice quiet area. The cottage was equipped with every comfort, although we could not find the barbecue supplies from the description. Beautiful, quiet location overlooking the river. There is not much to do in the immediate vicinity, everything has to be done by car (except in the village itself). Fine with us, by the way. Good contact with the hosts. They indicated in the cottage that they had many tips for restaurants in the area, which I did not find. Everything is spotless, ideal!
