Beautiful Centrally Located Cottage in Intercourse

Our home is located in the middle of Pennsylvania Dutch Country, and within walking distance of all the shops in Intercourse including Kitchen Kettle Village, Stoltzfus Meats, and Smucker Village. Intercourse is surrounded by farmlands and in the summer several authentic Amish roadside stands selling fresh produce can be found within a mile from our home. We've been sharing our home with guests for years, and just refreshed the furniture and decor this year to ensure you have a cozy + chic stay.

This was our 2nd stay at Mary's Landisville Getaway, and it was as great as the first time. We come to visit friends and family, and the location is perfectly central to all nearby highways and towns. Roots market is a must-do on all trips, and it is right down the road. We love the peaceful views and delight in the horses and cows nearby. The home itself is open, spacious and very comfortable. We hosted a family dinner one night, and the open kitchen/dining area was just perfect for that. And of course, the whoopie pies that Mary leaves for her guests are amazing. Thank you Mary and John, and we will see you again, for sure.

Clean as a whistle! Comfortable beds! Everything we needed was there and where we could easily find it. Well, except for a cheese grater-Maybe Mary can put one in the kitchen for next time. Beautiful home that fit right in with the midwest country theme. We enjoyed playing cards, fixing meals, and time together as a group of 6 women from Indiana, Ohio and Massachusetts. David was quick to repond to my questions, putting me in touch with Mary. She, too, was responsive and handy, operating her flower and gift shop behind the house. While in Intercourse, we enjoyed the Amish Experience supersaver tour, shopping locally and at the Lancaster Central Market. We attended the Sight & Sound production of "Noah" and spent a day at nearby Valley Forge National Historic Park. The last night of our stay, we watched a beautiful sunset on the patio behind the flower shop. Would recommend this house to large families or groups.

We had a great stay in Liz's place for the Easter weekend. We are so happy finding this pet friendly house so that we can bring our dogs. Liz's house is beautifully decorated and we really love the theme of "Nest" . We had fresh eggs and sourdough offered by Liz and they are all delicious. The location is perfect !

We chose Rosey's because it could accommodate my sister's family and mine - eight people - for my mom's memorial service. It was perfect! Exactly as advertised; clean, comfortable, and quiet, and the sleeping arrangements were as we saw in the pictures and worked just fine. There was plenty of room in the living room dining room and kitchen to gather, have meals and talk. And the parking was easy - on the street right in front of the house. Chris and Melody's attention to details was evident everywhere and especially in the hand written note and bag of Wilbur Buds which greeted us on the dining room table. Thank you!! We highly recommend if for no other reason than to see the goats!
