Vacation rentals with breakfast in Herne Bay

Joanne was a fantastic host! We felt really comfortable at her place. My friend who was also staying broke a chair, and Joanne's first concern was making sure everyone was okay rather than getting angry about it, so we really appreciated her compassion. Would definitely stay again.

The house is similar to a beautiful dollhouse, Michelle is very friendly and lovely to show us all around the house and her beautiful horses. This place is a gem! Wish to stay a bit longer!

We have just had a wonderful week at Angee’s place. Very close to the beach and cafes. Little and Friday is an easy work. Wild wheat is just around the corner. We found Angee’s place very clean and tidy. Angee was great to communicate with very. We would recommend this as a great stay.

From the get go Tammee was extremely helpful and very responsive to any communication from me. The house was beautiful and clean we felt very comfortable and at home here. The kitchen was well stocked with all the items needed for family dinners. Wonderful to have dishwasher tablets, washing powder, cling wrap, aluminium foil and even shower wash and sunscreen in the bathroom. The beds were very comfortable with lovely crisp linen and plenty of pillows. The welcome basket and bottle of wine was also a lovely touch. We would not hesitate to book again 😀

As soon as we arrived the host and his hospitality was great also very clear communication and very considerate with car park which was highly appreciated .Definitely recommend to all !

Julie’s place was lovely. We felt really at home. The location is superb with restaurants, wine bar , cinema and great walks. Access to the city is great. All in all a great place to stay. Thanks Julie for letting us use your lovely home.

Paula and Peter were friendly and helpful... and best of all, our dog was so relaxed and happy here. The fenced back section was ideal for our golden retriever to safely hang out in, and there's a green pocket park directly across the street. We're still so charmed by the cheese plate and fruit platter that turned up in our fridge. Oh - and lightening fast, reliable internet. Thanks so much!

The location was ideal for easy walkable access to Queen Street, all of downtown including the waterfront, live theatre, parks, the Auckland Art Gallery and restaurants. Tom provided everything we needed for our delightful short stay in this beautiful city. Many thanks.

We greatly enjoyed our stay at Andrew & Michaela's place on the North Shore. It's located in a quiet area with gorgeous views we loved waking up to everyday. The hosts were also very responsive during our stay, which was greatly appreciated. If you're looking for a nice, clean, and peaceful place to relax, this is it.

Dean and Margaret were so lovely and made me feel right at home! Their place has a gorgeous ocean view, and although slightly tricky to locate right off the street, their instructions were perfect. The neighbourhood was lovely and quiet, being not too far from local cafes and shops. They also made the effort to ensure you had everything you needed to be able to access the area around them easily! Thank you Margaret and Dean for having me!

We really appreciated the thought and effort Jitka and Michael put into the space and guest convenience (converter plugs, board games, breakfast supplies). The space is exactly as pictured. Studio, perfect for 1-2 with stunning views. Hosts were communicative and very accommodating to requests. Would highly recommend and stay again. Thank you 🙂

Having to pick up the key from the lockbox, which is “across the street outside a convenience store” seemed a little intimidating, especially with luggage. However, Sarah’s instructions were so detailed and included photos for each step which made it a very easy process! The apartment, although not large, is perfect for one or two people and is very quiet. Sarah has gone out of her way to make sure her guests have everything they could possibly need, including robes, slippers and umbrellas. The separate office space is also a nice bonus. The kitchen has all the gadgets you might need to cook or heat up some simple meals and there’s tea, coffee and some pantry items which are available to the guest. The shower is not huge - a caddy holding the shampoo & body wash was making it more cramped so I just put it on the floor - problem solved! I’m always cold and the provided heater did a great job. I really enjoyed being able to walk to everything and had a wonderful stay. Thanks Sarah!

Second time staying in this beautiful room, everything is so spacious, clean and comfortable. Felicity is the most wonderful host, loved catching up over a delicious breakfast. Will stay here again in future and highly recommend it to anyone else looking for a peaceful room in a beautiful location - with great access to the ferry!

A handy spot for Devonport or Takapuna. Easy to find. Very small bedrooms up a flight of stairs from the small bathroom & toilet combined. Lovely kind hosts.

Lovely friendly and welcoming hosts who gave us local recommendations for food places and went out of their way to make sure our stay was enjoyable and that we were able to enjoy exploring Auckland. Excellent value for money.

Dear Jeannette and Gerry.. first of all we want to thank you for hosting us in such a wonderful way. Your kindness and friendliness was just a perfect start for our trip in New Zeeland. Your house is situated in a absolutely outstanding location. The silence, the view, the wonderful breakfast, the bed with a comfortable mattress, the cleaness and more… all this makes it just perfect. We give 10 stars. Honest, five are not enough.

We had a great stay! Was such a beautiful location and amenities, walking distance to wonderful restaurants and Eden Park which made the Coldplay concert even better.

I could not be any happier with our stay - it was perfection! Conny is friendly and helpful and extremely responsive. Her breakfast (overnight oats) is amazing. Everything is exactly as expected and the location is great - just a few minutes to the beach. We will be back!

The house is close to the train station, making it easy to take public transportation to visit downtown Auckland, and there are supermarkets around.The hosts are very welcoming and kind, detailing the situation, providing all kinds of help for the guests, the room is fully equipped with all kinds of facilities, you can also cook your own meals.2 cats very cute.

Beautiful house, a little sanctuary, so peaceful and feels like your in a whole other world. Great facilities, everything you need and more. Amazing beds and linen. Would 100% stay again and recommend to anyone with a large group.
