Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Hemmet

My family and I (myself, husband, 2 kids -11 and 6) had a great stay at Christer's place! His home was perfectly located 5 minutes walk from the Lego House and the center of Billund and yet was peaceful and quiet. It was exactly as seen in the photos and the kitchen was especially well stocked with cooking equipment which was very useful as we tended to cook in the evenings after busy days out. There are also 3 supermarkets close by for anything you need. Christer was in contact prior to our arrival with useful information and always answered any queries we had promptly. The instructions for entry were clear and much appreciated given our late night arrival! Finally, I have to mention the amount of Lego displayed around the house and the huge buckets of lego available to play with - my kids were in heaven! The football table also provided a lot of entertainment. In short, I wouldn't hestiate to recommend a stay here and have in fact already recommended it to friends!

We have been to Mette's house a few times now and will definitely be back again. Mette is the perfect host, great communication, always to reach, lovely house, homey to be in. It's one of the best we've tried in Esbjerg, we've tried a lot for 12 years, close to shopping. Perfect for families with children.

very available host, a very nice house and very tasteful decoration. cats are very cuddly. the garden was very well maintained and flowered. very quiet place. very comfortable bedding. the master bedroom opens directly into the living room and is very bright... for people from Southern Europe, provide a travel mask for greasy mornings. We would definitely recommend this home and these hosts.

We enjoyed Maimiti and Fred’s home while visiting Billund. It was walkable to the center of town and offered a relaxing environment to come home to each night. Thank you!

Very nice cabin, very clean and comfortable (the warm and soft duvets were particularly appreciated in the early fall). A few minutes walk away, there is a nice lake to walk around, there is also a play area for children a 5min walk away. Legoland is a 25min drive and the (great) fishing museum is 40min away. We also visited Ribe, very nice village. Thank you to Hanne for everything! We will be happy to come back and recommend your place.

So many we been and stays Dirks home is really like home. Nothing else to look or bring more just bring your groceries and enjoy ypur stay! We recommended 100% to those looking the best place w/peace and family enjoyment!

We felt right at home in the beautiful accommodation with Felix and Katharina. The two were very kind and accommodating! The apartment was very clean and still big enough for four people. Also the sofa bed was very comfortable. We enjoyed the time very much:-).

A wonderful little peaceful cottage with lots of space for our family of four. Everything was clean and there was lots of toys to keep our 5 year old entertained. Karen provided a great size travel cot for our 7 month old upon request and was quick at replying to our questions. We are so thankful to her and her accommodation!

A super cozy apartment (upstairs) with a private entrance, living room, bedroom, kitchen and toilet. Bath in the basement. Free and safe parking behind the house. And not least a really good full size bed👌🏼A really cozy place, and Bjarne is a great service-minded host. We recommend for both short and long stays 👍😊

Nice and comfortable, location good while we traveled various areas of Denmark

Everything was fine, 👍 we had a pleasant stay. The landlords are friendly and accommodating.

We experienced great hospitality and felt really welcome. We were greeted with freshly baked bread and cool rosé wine. In the apartment, there was everything and more of what you need to feel at home.

The place is not central to restaurants, but easy to get to by car. Really nice, clean and spacious apartment

we stayed 6 Pers in the apartment., nice space for all of us. perfect location for us, shopping and fjord. the only thing we were missing was a microwave for our popcorn🤣

The house we lived in during our holiday was very chic: its architecture “has a style” (we regret a bit that, due to the weather, we have not spend some time in its garden and small greenhouse), and the interior matches very well the concept of “hygge”. The hosts were very kind (upon our arrival, they prepared some small things to eat and drink) and helpful.

The place fully lived up to the description, was a better one though. Super easy to get in touch with the host, responded quickly, was very understanding and accommodating. Great host😊 Close to shopping. We weren't around Ansager, but drove to Billund, which was not far away. We had a lovely weekend Highly recommend the place
