Spacious, private home

Lovely home and beautiful grounds. We appreciated that mary had the heat and hot water turned on before we arrived. She had a binder of helpful tips on operating appliances etc. and suggestions of nearby restaurants and attractions. She was accommodating when we asked for early checkin.

Spacious house near beaches, mountains and town.

Fiona’s house is a brilliant base for holidaying on the Ring of Kerry. The accommodation is spacious, lots of comfortable beds and 3 bathrooms with great showers, shower gel and shampoo in each. Communication with Fiona was excellent, she is available by text or phone call. She was very flexible with the check in and out times. We loved arriving to a warm house, as the heating was set on a timer. Everything was spotlessly clean and we were delighted with the welcome pack of fresh brown bread, butter and milk as well as plenty of fuel for the fire. The kitchen was stocked with the basic cooking ingredients and excellent cooking equipment. Plenty of books, games and jigsaws available for the whole family. We loved the location, 5 minutes by car to Cahersiveen with pubs and shops. And mountain walks, ancient stone forts, ruined castle and lovely beach on your door step! Very quiet location and a telescope in one of the rooms to gaze at the stars! We definitely would come to stay again!

No 27 Killarney Holiday Village - Great Location!

MariaRating, 5 stars2 months ago
As we were arriving at 4am, Denise kindly upgraded us to No 1, because it was easy to access as right next to the car park. The house has been recently refurbished. It had everything we needed, perfectly clean, very comfortable beds, fluffy towels, beautiful views. The welcome pack of tea, soda bread and biscuits was very welcome as we were unable to buy supplies on the way as we drove through the night from Dublin airport. The drive was from Dublin was easy, the check in was easy, the house was perfect and our hosts generously allowed us to be relaxed about our check out time too, which was much appreciated. There's a shop and a hotel with restaurant moments away, it's a longer walk into Killarney but doable. It's a very beautiful part of the world. We were visiting relatives nearby so hope to return soon.

Myself and three friends stayed here during the weekend for the Ballydehob Trad festival. We all had a fantastic experience here, everything was as perfect. Katie was an excellent host who ensured that everything was going well. We all agree that we would love to come back for another stay again. Thanks again!

Fuaim na Mara

I recently stayed at this wonderful property and had an amazing experience. The homemade scones were a lovely touch – thank you! The property had everything we needed, including a fully equipped kitchen, comfortable beds, and a cozy living area. The basics like tea, coffee, sugar, and milk were perfect. The cleanliness and attention to detail were impressive, making our stay very comfortable. The surroundings were beautiful, with scenic drives and plenty of walking trails. The local towns of Glengarriff & Castletownbere was charming, with friendly locals and great dining spots like Lynches on the Pier(Castletownbere), Mozz Pizza(Glengarriff) & Murphys Food Truck(Dursey). We were especially happy that we could bring our pets along, making our stay even more enjoyable knowing our furry friends were welcome too. We are already planning our next visit :) Highly recommend this place for a relaxing getaway!

Danny and Jessie's place was exactly what we wanted. A home away from home. Peaceful, remote, but easy to get to local towns and villages by car. And the garden is absolutely stunning. Thank you for a wonderful stay. Highly recommend.
