Places to stay in Hector

We’ve never rented a house so well-stocked as Caitlin’s house! Everything a traveler might need- even little chocolates. The beds were comfy & we loved having a tv with some live channels. The only downside was the busy road right by- the traffic dwindled down by bedtime so it wasn’t so loud.

Had a last-minute business trip to Watkins Glen, and all of the decent hotels had limited availability. This place was perfect. We found a restaurant right down the street and ate there both nights. Dunkin Donuts was almost directly across the street, so we didn't even bother with the coffee maker in the morning. Hot tub was a nice bonus on the 2nd night!

Great place! Beautiful. New. Safe neighborhood. Easy access to Cornell and Ithaca. Highly recommend. Will stay here again!

Very unique place in an old church. The space is huge and has everything needed for a comfortable stay. Everything was clean and the host was responsive to communication. Great location for visiting the wineries on the east side of Seneca lake. Also convenient to visiting Ithaca and Watkins Glen.

Sarah's place was amazing. The location was perfect - able to walk to everything. Parking spot in the back was great. The bed was a nice surprise as it was a king size and super comfortable. The place is just as you see it in the pictures - super adorable, super clean and cozy. We will definitely stay there again. Thank you, Anna and Andrew!

We had a great stay at Jan's place. It's located within walking distance of Ithaca Commons with many more restaurants and shops nearby. Jan met us at the door and welcomed us into her place. She has a lot of knowledge about the city and neighboring area. Her apartment was warm and cozy in February and had everything we needed. Will stay again when back in town!

The area was beautiful! Lots of wineries to visit. The house was clean and had everything we needed and the hot tub was great!

Elvira welcomed us into her beautiful home. She checked with us prior to learn our eta so that we would be able to get in smoothly when we arrived. She had tea, coffee, a fruit bowl, and snack bars, which was very thoughtful. We were visiting my daughter in Ithaca and Elvira kindly offered her to stay with us too. Elvira gave us suggestions for places to go around the area. We had fun exploring Trumansburg! I would love to go back one day soon. I would highly recommend staying at Elvira’s Uptown Antiques Air BnB.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this charming cabin! Nestled near Watkins Glen State Park, it was the perfect escape for our adventure-filled getaway. The scenic views were breathtaking on our way to Nancy’s cabin. The cabin itself was cozy and well-equipped, providing everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We enjoyed exploring the nearby hiking trails and visiting local wineries, which were just a short drive away. Nancy was incredibly welcoming.This cabin truly felt like a home away from home. We can't wait to return for more adventures! Highly recommend for anyone looking to unwind and explore.
