Lakefront with beach was the best, so peaceful and relaxing with as much fun and adventure you could desire. Place was so much fun, unique architecture blending modern with whimsical decor. Malinda's place was perfect for our 4 generation, family weekend. We each had our own comfortable space to retire to at night and the living area and loft were perfect for being together and enjoying each other's company. The kitchen was extremely well stocked with, coffee, dishes, utensils, pots and pans and electronic appliances, which made it easy to prepare meals. Malinda's place was very clean. Every room was spotless and smelled fresh. Each bathroom had fresh linens, shower gel and shampoo and conditioner as well as cotton balls, cotton round and q-tips on each vanity. The home is located in a quiet well maintained neighborhood and is not far from shopping and restaurants. When messaging with Malinda, she was always very prompt in responding and answered in a helpful and friendly way. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Malinda's lovely place and would definitely stay here again for future visits to the Charlotte area.❤️

We stayed for 10 days and had a restful and wonderful time. We are from the area so know it well and have family nearby and this was an easily accessible, perfect spot for us and our 2 large dogs (boxers) to spend Christmas and New Years. The fully fenced backyard was a major bonus and very much appreciated by us and our pups. Our host, Tammy, was incredibly responsive throughout our entire visit, and so kind to let us extend our stay on short notice to one additional night before we started our return home cross country drive. All aspects of the house are comfortable - beds, furniture, spaces to move around in - and the kitchen is well stocked with utensils and cooking dishes. We have this place as top of our list for future visits back to our hometown!

Dawn was a great host and the place was fantastic to stay. The house is nestled into the woods providing a great private feeling. The view and listening to the wildlife from the porch in the mornings and nights was extremely relaxing and a great way to start and end the day. The house was clean and in great condition with tons of activities between the games, water toys, TVs, and dock. Dawn as the host provided a booklet of information for the house and local restaurants and was very responsive to any messages. Overall was a great place and host. Highly recommend for a family looking for a peaceful getaway. Recommend stopping for groceries on your way in, the local Walmart is about 30 minutes north or south.
