Dori is the nicest host I’ve ever dealt with. Her little mountain home was MAGICAL and exactly what my husband and I needed. AND we could have our sweet dog come with us. Will most likely be visiting again. Definitely recommend to anyone who wants to visit Maggie Valley.

Our stay at the mountain house in Waynesville, North Carolina, was nothing short of exceptional! We booked a last-minute trip to escape the city, and this place exceeded all our expectations. The house is equipped with every comfort and more that you could think of, making it the perfect retreat. The stunning views from the property provided a serene backdrop that contributed to our much-needed peace and quiet. Waynesville itself is an adorable town filled with charming boutiques, excellent restaurants, and the friendliest locals. The house was immaculate, and the beds were incredibly comfortable. The amenities offered allowed us to truly unwind and relax. I can't recommend this place enough for anyone looking for a peaceful getaway in a beautiful setting. We’ll definitely be back!

I stayed at Greg’s property for 2 and a half weeks. It was wonderful. The cabin is cozy and a great location to get out and see the natural beauty of Western North Carolina. Greg a super friendly and interesting guy, with a ton of great stories and experiences to share. He gave awesome suggestions on things to do and was very helpful and responsive with any needs I had. I plan to come back soon and stay with Greg again as there is so much to explore around and Greg was the perfect host.

I stayed for one night and found the space to be charming and thoughtfully decorated. The host provided clear directions and accurate photos, which were especially helpful since the home is kind of tucked away. The cabin was very clean and well-equipped with everything we needed. We did encounter a spider on the bed, but given the mountain location and surrounding forest, we understood that occasional bugs are to be expected and it didn’t impact our overall experience. Loved it and would stay again!

We greatly enjoyed our stay at Bill’s cabin in Sylva, NC. It is perfectly maintained and has the mountain feel that we desired. The view of the Blue Ridge is spectacular as we watched the sunrise in the mornings. The beds are very comfortable and the cabin is well stocked for a stay. The kitchen is laid out nicely and met all of our needs. The gathering room is comfortable and natural light floods the room during the day. Bathrooms are very clean and well laid out. There is an extensive deck with beautiful views of the mountains and the waterfall. We arrived late in the night, in the dark, but Bill was very helpful and made sure we had clear directions to find the cabin. He communicated well during the whole process. We hope to come back for a longer stay in the future.

One of the best places I have stayed in, hands down. Perfect closed in area for dogs, many different outdoor seating options to relax, inside was absolutely perfect. The heated bidet and toilet seat along with the sauna heating feature in the bathroom was life changing during cold weather. Very close to town but still feeling secluded. Even though we didn’t have time to play the old Nintendo, it was a super unique feature. Love the personal recommendations book they made. I wouldn’t hesitate to book this place again!

Great place to stay! Fun little retreat with my wife and we really enjoyed our stay. Went on some fun hikes in the area and ate good food in Waynesville. Not quite as private as it seems but we didn’t have any neighbors our whole stay. Would definitely go back!
