Recently refurbished one bedroom guest house located just 250 metres from the bustling Havelock North village, where you are spoilt for choice of restaurants, cafes, a supermarket and retail shops. The guest house is detached from my home with your own private courtyard area. The guest house has wifi, TV, small kitchenette equipped with a bar fridge, microwave, toaster and kettle.

What a great find with fantastic friendly hosts. Claire and Seb have a great little place right near the beach. So cozy and easy to settle into. It is by a main road (as they mentioned and the only reason I didn’t give location a 5 star) but it wasn’t a distraction (fans and heat pump made it easy to not notice). They even supply ear plugs if you were a sensitive sleeper and can’t block it out. The beach is right across from their drive and a great place to sit and listen to the waves crash. And the bed is super comfy! Seriously, don’t swipe past this Air B&B. We definitely plan to come back for a longer stay!

Although the weather was a heavy downpour most of our long weekend stay we still had an great time, we didn’t get to walk the gardens but could see how amazing they looked. The facilities were quality, very clean and the spa / sauna was a perfect way to relax, especially during the rainy periods where we could hear the rain pelting down on the roof above while soaking in the tub and being surrounded by ferns. Tracey was an amazing host, with great communication throughout, clear instructions and with easy access to the property. The complimentary bubbles was also a nice touch! Highly recommend!

Had a lovely stay out at Janet’s place. It’s in a stunning location overlooking the sea, getting great views of sunrise. It’s extremely peaceful and private. The place itself is really clean and well set up, has everything you would need for a weekend get away. It’s about a 20 minute drive into Napier. Janet was easy to get in contact with. We’ll def get back in touch for staying here again when we come back to Hawkes Bay, thanks Janet ☺️
