Vacation rentals in Hartington

Julie met us as we pulled in to show us how to get in and shared information about the property we found helpful during our stay. As a blizzard was forecast for the next day, Julie let us know we could stay an additional day stay if road conditions were treacherous. The snowplows had the roads cleared in time for us to leave as scheduled, but I was grateful for her offer. We loved the romantic and beautiful snowy rural scenes through the windows and certainly stayed warm and snug while snowed in for the day! The decor is darling! I would love to return in a warm season to explore the property and meet the chickens, goose, and dog.

Chris has a perfect house for larger numbers of people (up to 10) with beds for everyone and a huge living room that easily fits everyone in luxurious couches, loveseats and recliners all in front of a big TV and propane fireplace. He is super responsive to any inquiries with an immediate message back. He let us know with a special message on Super Bowl Sunday just how to get the right channel on the TV via You Tube Live knowing we would want that info later on. The amenities are top notch including a hot tub, full size laundry machines and a grill and smoker on the deck. Everything was very clean and as good as new. Directly across from the Lewis and Clark Recreation Area is a great location, too. A perfect stay!

Great place for us to stay. We were hunting near by and the view is great. House was clean and had everything we needed.

This is an amazing and beautiful property. Super clean and so many nice amenities that you would not normally find in a host home. Jolynn is super responsive and a very thoughtful host. Everything from the check in to the check out was easy to follow. She was also very responsive to questions we had before our stay and during. We will definitely stay here again and would recommend this property to anyone.

Good place to stay was kind of hard with the boat and the drive way but we could have parked down in the grass so that’s on us but the place was great

Stayed at Travis's place for 6 days over the holidays. We have stayed with Travis before, but he seems to keep adding new improvements to the home--including new snacks, keurig and tv's in the rooms. Appreciate all you did to make our family's holiday memorable.

Lennon and Richard are great hosts, very considerate and generous. They left my group a big bowl of trail mix just because. They installed a heater in the breezeway because they know we keep the dogs out there and they can get very cold. And they make it seemlike they enjoy us staying at their place as much as we do. We love coming here every year.

This home is exactly as described! The location was perfect for our needs. We loved the quiet neighborhood and it has a great location. The home was clean, inviting and cozy especially the finished basement. I would definitely recommend this home!!
