House vacation rentals in Harry Gwala District Municipality

We stayed at Mike‘s beautiful home for 5 nights with our 2 kids. The house is spacious, and tastefully decorated, with all the creature comforts. We loved sitting on the terrace every morning, enjoying the magnificent view and beautiful sounds of nature and bird life. The fire-bowl was also lots of fun for the kids to toast marshmallows. Despite being secluded, all amenities, in Hilton and Howick are easily reachable. Mike is a great host who goes out of his way to make one’s stay as comfortable as possible. Communication was always pleasant and quick. We highly recommended!

A lovely home in a quiet, beautiful setting. My grandson especially enjoyed doing soccer training in the backyard. Our only complaint was weather…we unfortunately had 3 rainy days.

Hilton is a lovely area, and the mist can be quite deceiving if you're looking to do activities outside Hilton! The accommodation was as advertised. Perhaps not suggested for more than 3 adults, ideal for a family of 4. 3 very friendly dogs are on the property. Parking is a bit of an issue, the undercover parking can only shield a small vehicle. All other parking is open. The road leading to the accommodation is poor, so be warned of that. Mary-Ann was responsive to all requests, and open to speak in person or instant messaging. The unit contains all the expected basics, with a lovely bath and a baby bath, which was quite handy in our case! I would most certainly recommend her if you're staying in Hilton.

Lovely spot in a beautiful location! Daniel's cottage is perfectly situated in a peaceful neighbourhood, close to all amenities and central to exploring the Midlands. The little backyard had nice seating and set up to have a braai, which we really enjoyed. Definitely will stay again.

The place was beautiful, secured and felt like home. I wish the property owner told us that there would be people coming in early morning who had keys as well, we didn’t know how to react to people walking around property. Apart from that, it’s worth another visit.

we enjoyed our stay, very proactive host and accommodative. my daughter had her 16th birthday with friends and all the girls liked the peaceful nature and being far away from the city added that extra vibe. We enjoyed our stay in Underberg. Communication and check-in with Debbie went smoothly and we felt at home immediately. The house is spacious with a particularly nice big kitchen & dining area. There is also an outside terrace with a new grill overlooking the Drakensberg mountains. The garden is fantastic and I spent a few hours playing football with my children. I know Underberg quite well and imagine this is one of the nicer properties available.

We had a fantastic stay at Mary’s place in Gowrie. Everything was impeccably organized and spotlessly clean, with all the essentials in the kitchen for a comfortable stay. Highly recommend and would love to visit again!

This is TRULY a piece of paradise. My family and I want to book this place every Christmas. And BROWNE! Give that man a bonus. The experience would be nothing without him. He gave us that old school hospitality. We felt like we were at a 5-star bush hotel

Serene and peaceful surroundings. 3 lovely horses grazing just behind the house. The house catered to all our needs with a fun loft for the children. An added bonus was a little buck that was spotted. Great stay and excellent hosts. Thank you
