A great place to stay close to the lake Walking distance to town but removed from the town center. Other air BnB’s on the property didn’t cause any privacy issues A lovely outlook onto a small lake with ducks and rabbits visiting each day made the stay so much more pleasant.

We had a wonderful stay! Excellent location for exploring the area. We loved how close it was to the bike trails The cottage was very clean and well appointed, comfortable beds and excellent water pressure! We are looking forward to rebooking again

We loved our New Year's break at the Captain's Cottage. Jamie and Linda are great hosts who, after providing some excellent recommendations for things to do in the area in advance and making us feel welcome when checking in, respected our privacy throughout our stay. They were particularly patient with our dog, who also took a shine to them, and was fond of visiting them without an invitation! The cottage itself was clean, cosy and lived up to the other excellent reviews. Jamie and Linda had thought of everything: from the quaint nautical themed decor to the complimentary breakfast supplies and port. Highlights for us were the hot tub, the views of sunset from the veranda, and saying hello to the horses in the neighbouring paddock. Our only regrets by the end of our visit were that we didn't find time to use the pool and that we didn't stay for longer!

One of the best airbnb rentals we've had. In a beautiful setting within easy reach of Lake Sambell and the town, the cottage is spacious and very comfortable with everything you need. We had a fantastic 2-night stay at this lovely cottage house in Beechworth. The property was impeccably clean and beautifully tidy, creating a welcoming and comfortable atmosphere from the moment we arrived. It was also wonderfully well-equipped, with everything we needed for a relaxing and hassle-free stay. It felt like a home away from home for a relaxing getaway. Perfectly located for exploring the town. Highly recommend and can’t wait to return!

We had the most relaxing stay at this lovely cottage, tucked away among the trees for complete privacy. It was more spacious than we expected, very clean, and had everything we needed and more. We only wish we could have stayed longer! Thank you so much for sharing your space with us.

This was perfect for our family getaway with plenty of space, great view of the countryside, a large refreshing pool in the high temperatures we had, lots of character in our rustic cottage and close to historical Beechworth and what it has to offer. Linda’s and Jamie’s welcome treats were most appreciated. We will be back.

We enjoyed very much our stay at the 3BlackSHEDS. The accommodation is very neat and clean; the bed is cosy; and the place is peaceful. On top of these, Alan and Rowena got everything well prepared for a comfortable holiday away from home, yet just like at our own home. We love the food and beverages they supplied for breakfast: fresh, nutritious and delicious. The communication with them is also great, too, as Alan alway responded promptly and provided the supplies, answers and information we needed. All these reflected that Alan and Rowena are the caring and thoughtful host who made our holiday extra enjoyable.

A great place to stay if you have a dog, everything catered for and great surroundings. The recommendations Linda left for dog friendly places was spot on and the instructions really clear. It is also a lovely place, quiet, off the beaten road, practical and clean. Near to all the tourist trappings like Beechworth, Bright, Milawa and the Kind Valley.

This is a beautifully designed house that makes the most of its garden and creek frontage. We particularly appreciated the care and thought that has gone into the high quality bed linen, kitchen crockery/utensils, and eco-friendly touches. Our hosts were prompt and very helpful when needed -thank you!

Absolutely beautiful character filled home. You can walk to town and bikes were provided to go further afield or on the rail trail. Can’t wait to go back!

Great little central spot that allowed us to explore the surrounding areas with ease, and a quick drive home from the wedding we attended in a nearby town! It’s evident that the hosts have put a lot of thought and care into this lovely place.

Our group of friends had a beautiful stay at Linda’s gorgeous cottage. Surrounded by lush fruit and citrus trees overlooking the waterfall gorge, we enjoyed our evenings on the deck watching the sunset whilst enjoying delicious local produce. Linda was a fab host and gave us so many tips and suggestions. We walked to the local store to collect our divine corn bread and two gigantic punnets of blueberries and strawberries. Pantry had all the necessities plus eggs milk butter and scrumptious crumpets. The bedrooms were all so inviting with comfortable beds and lovely linen. House and garden was full of art works. A beautiful stay.

We had such a lovely time and enjoyed how close the cottage was to the river and the main shops. Cottage was very comfortable and had everything provided for a relaxing stay. Would definitely stay again!

This Airbnb is a lovely spot on a farm. It has been decked out with all desired appliances. Would definitely consider going there again. The hosts were wonderful, friendly and happy to make suggestions. It wasn’t long enough would be my only criticism.Thanks so much for your hospitality and friendly company.

Diane was an amazing host. She has a lovely place with nice view. Loved her enthusiasm for her farm. She made an effort to show us around. We, especially our kids loved it. Our son cannot stop talking about the cows and horse. We will definitely come back to the farm in cooler weather.

Rhonda and Peter's home had everything you could possibly need. This was hands down the best stocked airbnb we've stayed at so far. The breakfast provisions were so generous and absolutely delicious. It was so peaceful and well situated, close to all the places we wanted to visit. The beds were very comfortable and all the linens and towels were of very good quality. Overall a wonderful stay and we would love to return. Thank you Rhonda and Peter for being such great hosts.

Small but cosy. We used it as a retreat for a ski week at Mt Hotham, had everything we needed for a comfortable stay plus some extra comforts. Great location with easy access to food and views.

We had the most relaxing four days staying at Wee Varrich, what a charming cottage in a peaceful and idyllic setting. The cottage was spotlessly clean and was equipped with everything we could possibly need. The bed was king sized, comfortable with beautiful linen. The welcome goodies were a lovely and generous touch. Stanley is a great location with just a short 10 minute drive into Beechworth. The Stanley pub was walking distance and had amazing food and service. Sally and David were the most welcoming hosts who made us feel very at home and were very helpful during our stay. We will definitely return to this special place.
