I can't say enough about how much fun staying at Amazing Grace Canyon at Rock of Ages Cabin was! It was the IDEAL get away and spot to truly disconnect and just enjoy the incredible views of hill country. It's in Alamo Springs, about 30-40 minutes from Fredricksburg and about an hour from Enchanted Rock. It was worth the drive because the views to and from were magical. The cabin itself was well stocked with just about everything you need for a comfortable stay. The kitchen had plenty of snacks for us, as well as a bottle of wine! Fully stocked with pots and pans and cutlery, etc. There was also a Keurig and their coffee selection was 10/10. Besides the kitchen, the bedrooms were very comfortable and the sheets/quilts/pillows were very comfortable. There is a room with a full bed, a 2nd room with a full/twin bunk, and an upstairs loft with 2 twin beds on the floor (tight space). There are AC units in the main living and each bedroom, and a portable AC upstairs in the loft. LOVED IT!!

We had THE BEST stay. I highly recommend this location for people wanting a beautiful view, a peaceful environment, the opportunity to watch wildlife (we got to see the coolest roadrunner), and an amazing property. Shout out to Byron for being so responsive when I forgot to write down the gate code. lol! We will be back next year for sure!!

The property and property staff were amazing! It was perfect for our family. You can walk around and enjoy the peace and quiet being away from the city. On a clear night you can see the stars. We enjoyed the house and the property. It’s a great place to unplug and relax. We are already trying to figure out when we could go back.

The house was close to Main Street but far enough where you didn’t deal with the traffic of trying to get back to the house. Was in a quiet neighborhood. Extremely clean and well kept. We enjoyed our time there.

We absolutely loved our stay at Sunrise Grove Cottage in Fredericksburg, TX. From the moment we arrived, we were taken by the charm of this stone cottage nestled behind a quaint picket fence under beautiful shade trees. Inside, the home was not only spotless and cozy but also filled with a gorgeous curation of antiques throughout the cottage that gave it so much character and warmth. Each piece added a sense of charm and authenticity that made the stay feel extra special.. Paula’s attention to detail is incredible — every vintage touch felt intentional and full of history. The peaceful setting made it easy to unwind. Paula was a thoughtful and responsive host, making us feel right at home from start to finish. The location was quiet but just a short drive from all the attractions downtown. We’re already looking forward to coming back — highly recommended for anyone looking to experience the charm of Fredericksburg in a truly unique & tucked away setting in the Hill Country.

This house was gorgeous!! Plenty of space and good layout for entertaining. Hot tub and firepit was a highlight! I loved the fact that there aren’t any neighbors super close so we weren’t too concerned about being disruptive. Less than 10 min drive from the main shops or anything else you’d want to do in town. Highly recommend!

Our family enjoyed the all the family friendly games the host home had to offer & the open atmosphere.

Great place to stay. Walkable to Main St. Had an issue with accessing laundry room and host responded immediately and sent tech out to fix the problem. Would recommend this house.
