Stayed here for a family getaway. Large enough for the grandparents and our dog to join us. We LOVED the house! Super quiet, clean, and homey. The fenced yard was AMAZING for our dog and the garage was wonderful for loading/unloading kids and all of the gear that goes with them. Having a proper living room, dining room, kitchen, breakfast nook, and multiple bathrooms made it so perfectly comfortable. I loved that I could get up early and pack the day’s “adventure provisions” in the kitchen without waking anyone up (located far away from the bedrooms). Nice safe neighborhood too. Highly recommend!

I recommend this place 100% especially if you’re working at a near by refinery! Jerome’s place is a nice, quiet, secluded, & only a short drive from everything you’d need to make your stay comfortable. Jerome’s just a shout away for anything you need or suggestions. Will definitely be looking up this stay in the near future

Sunshine Cottage was such a pleasure to stay at! It was very roomy, comfortable beds, beautiful sun room that overlooks the water, and the thoughtfulness of a goodie basket and toys to keep little kids entertained was just the icing on the cake!! I 100% recommend any of John and Alese’s places to stay at. We will continue to stay with Lakeside Lodging!

Great place to get away and relax. The gazebo over the water is beautiful and the chapel next door is perfect for playing guitar and singing. The owners are very friendly and responsive. I would stay again.

Natalie was very helpful when we had issues getting inside on check in day. We were unable to really understand or get Google Smart to operate,probably was user fault LOL. The home was set up as vintage very nice. It’s very spacious and well maintained. Everyone was comfortable.

The house was just like the pictures, and it was super easy to get in. It was also really clean, and I loved that the towels and sheets were white. My husband is from Beaumont, so it was great to find a place that was close to everyone.

Enjoyed a pleasant weekend exploring the Big Thicket trails and resting at the Hunter's Retreat. The private hot tub paired nicely with the cooler spring evenings and the sounds of the forest after dark. I highly recommend Kelley's place both for its affordability and it's unique atmosphere of nature combined with genuine Texas hospitality.

Jessica was very responsive and accommodating. Would recommend her and this house to anyone. The house was very clean and cozy and in a nice safe and secure area.

My family and I was affected by Hurricane Beryl that hit Houston on 7-8-24!! So we had no Power for 4 days on that 4th day I decided that's Enough!! Since I'm moving out of the Houston area anyway I decided to look down towards the Beaumont/ Port Arthur area!! And let me say this I'm definitely Glad I Did when I stumbled across Ms.Barbara cottage I felt immediately drawn to it!! Living in a Major City full of Noise and Chaos I was in need of some Peace and Quite!! Ms Barbara cottage is that and So Much more nestled in a gorgeous 🥰 backyard surrounded by Lush Landscape I felt like I was in England in a Beautiful Forest!! Ms.Barbara place was EVERYTHING I HOPE FOR and then SOME!! The cottage was equipped with Wifi Air Conditioner and kitchen with all the amenities and so much more!! Ms. Barbara is the Sweetest Lady I've ever met she's kind and very knowledgeable about the Beaumont area!! I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND HER PLACE TO ANYONE!! Thanks again Ms.Barbara Stacey and James and Bailey🐾
