Bob was a fantastic host. He was extremely communicative from day one, ensured we felt like home, and provided a peaceful oasis for us on the lake where we got to enjoy blue herons and egrets regularly. If we had any questions or needs about anything, Bob was always ready to help. Overall, this was a great stay and we would recommend to anyone interested in experiencing the Virginia Beach oceanfront, local restaurants and the boardwalk all in walking/biking distance.

My family and I had a fantastic time staying at this home! The house is gorgeous and we immediately felt at home. The fenced-den yard and balconies were perfect for my dog as well. The hosts were super friendly and responsive if we needed anything. The location is also awesome as it is very close to the beach, local restaurants, and a brewery/ coffee shop. Absolutely cannot wait to return for another visit!

Place as described and near newly developed town homes, military base and not too far from Virginia Beach Blvd and Tidewater Dr. Check-In and check-out was simple. Spacious full size refrigerator and a microwave was also available for use in addition to a k-cup style coffee maker.

Really nice place to stay, easy access and has great room for two people

We had a fantastic time staying at Jamie & Crystal’s “Carolina on My Mind” condo at the Sanctuary in Sandbridge. The condo was spotless and well-equipped with everything we needed, from dishes and cookware to all the essential appliances. The beach was clean and uncrowded during our visit, making it a perfect vacation. We especially enjoyed the foosball table, which provided hours of fun for our family. There were also plenty of play toys and family games to keep everyone occupied. The location was ideal, with easy access to restaurants and grocery stores. Our only complaint is that we couldn’t stay longer. We would definitely recommend Carolina on My Mind to our family and friends.

We had a great week with our family, especially with our grandkids! The house was very nice and clean, it met our needs as far as space and privacy for everyone. We did have one complaint…ants! There were ants on the countertops, around the seams of the stove, and later on, around the sink. We used the spray that was left under the sink, which did help, but it did not keep them away. It mentioned in the House Manual about possible ants if crumbs are laying around and not cleaned up, but the ants were there before we had food in the house. As the week went on, we kept the floors swept up and countertops cleaned off, but the ants continued to be present.

Space is compact, but ideal for the 3 of us. Although we were not in town for pleasure (funeral), the beach is only a few blocks away. Kat was very quick in responding to any questions. She is a very gracious host.

Chad and Maria’s home is beautiful and very comfy. The pool was an added bonus. We booked the house for our annual girls trip. Everyone was quite happy and comfortable with the sleeping arrangements. Beds were comfy. The living room sofa was big enough for the 6 of us to hang out and watch tv in the evening. They also had so many extra amenities then previous places we’ve stayed! Would definitely stay again and would recommend to others 100%.

it was a great place to stay, it was nicely decoarated and had everything we needed. We would highly recommend it and they were great hosts as well. We plan on staying there next year.

Great stay, great host no complaints.

Booked this place for my family when they came from out of town. Very convenient for the whole family to be in one place versus different hotels. There was more than enough room for us. Only downside (due to it being in October) is the critters which we were warned about due to it being right behind water. I communicated about the critters and the host informed me (because I wasn’t familiar with the area) and they were prompt with their response and asked if I wanted pest control to come to make me feel comfortable. Although we declined because we were only there the weekend, the fact of them caring enough to recommend so we could feel comfortable was enough. Communication with host was prompt and very easy Overall stay was pleasant and would stay again. Views are amazing.

We enjoyed our stay at The Great Escape! Most of our time was spent in the private pool and fishing from the yard into the canal. The walk to the beach was quick and easy. We loved how quiet and safe the neighborhood was. The house had all the amenities we needed- it felt like a home away from home. Kim was a great host supplying us with lots of recommendations and was quick to resolve any problems. We hope to visit again in the future!

We had a great stay in Norfolk. The condo had everything we needed. Jason had everything needed for the beach: parasol, chairs , sand toys, towels. The placement of the condo was perfect right in front of the beach wich was not crowded at all. The beach was clean and we even saw dolphins. We liked that there were two bathrooms in the condo and that it was more spacious then we expected. Jason was always really helpful with our questions. We will be back.

We enjoyed our girls' weekend here! The view and surroundings were beautiful and it was very peaceful and quiet. We ventured to the Main St. area and it was a 15-20 min drive, but really just enjoyed the time together at the house. The house was well-appointed, comfortable, and well-stocked and Ashley was responsive and accommodating. Would love to go back!

Beautiful view from the couch into The Chesapeake Bay. This was a staycation for us… we live near Chic’s Beach. The location was an area we had not explored yet and finally got to do so!

Relaxing, peaceful, beautiful property! The views of the bay are stunning & can be viewed from BOTH bedrooms! A rare & true gem this home! We are very grateful to have been able to experience this home! We stayed in December for a getaway from day to day life so it was too cold to explore water activities but we did bundle up & walk the beach & see all the nature this property has to offer ! Thank you !

What a fantastic place! I came from Pennsylvania to visit with family. Katie’s place was a great spot for them to come visit. We cooked out on the grill and the kids played in the water and on the beach. The house is absolutely gorgeous and is fully stocked with everything you could think of and labeled! The best part was watching the sunrise while sipping a cup of coffee on the covered porch. It was so peaceful. Oh! And of course watching the dolphins play! I really hope we can come back again in the future, we had the absolute best time! Thank-you Katie and Tim for everything!

Exceptional Airbnb host - communication with Diana was so easy and friendly. The first feeling when I walked in was "wow!" It's a very nice space and clearly the result of thoughtful curation by the hosts. The home was well-stocked and clean, which made the stay feel easy/relaxing - there were thoughtful touches in every room, from the very well-stocked kitchen to the shampoo/conditioner/body wash in every bathroom to the pillows of multiple firmness levels making it easy to find one that worked for me. So nice to have a washer/dryer while traveling too. And the very clear instructions on check-in and check-out also added to the sense of ease. One flag for those with small children is to pay special attention to the photos of the upstairs balcony rail and stairs - the gaps are fine for anyone who isn't a baby/toddler, but we chose to make the toddler room the downstairs bedroom, rather than having him walking around upstairs at all, just to be extra safe.
