The team was helpful and responsive. There was an issue with the charcoal grill grates but we were pleased that after communicating it to them they had the issue fixed in an hour by bringing new grill grates for us to use. We loved using their fire table on the back porch. Super easy to turn on and has a nice view of a stream in the backyard. One thing that we weren’t pleased with was the couch in the living room. We tried watching a movie there and found it to be uncomfortable and small. But that is just one small nitpick. Overall, we had a great stay!

These cabins sit on a ridge line overlooking beautiful West Virginia - and I heard that on a clear day, you can see all the way to the Allegheny Mountains. It was a very peaceful stay on a lovely property, and I would recommend it to anyone who's looking to recharge. Su and Sy were very friendly and responsive to my needs. I'm looking forward to going back again!

Nestled in a peaceful, scenic setting, the cabin strikes the perfect balance between cozy charm and modern convenience, offering every amenity we needed for a relaxing long weekend. We spent our days enjoying the breathtaking views from the deck, gathering around the firepit under the stars, and soaking up the warmth in the inviting sunroom. Warden Lake itself is absolutely stunning — perfect for fishing, peaceful walks, and simply taking in the serenity of the water. This hidden gem is truly a slice of heaven, and we can’t recommend it highly enough. We’re already counting down the days until we return this Fall!

My husband and I booked this cabin for our two year anniversary trip. This cabin was absolutely amazing! If you’re looking for a peaceful getaway, this is it. Everything was spotless and super clean and the space itself was cozy and well stocked with plenty to do inside. The hike up to the overlook near the cabin was definitely a workout, but 100% worth it for the view. We loved how quiet and serene the area was—truly a perfect escape. There was some adorable shops and a delicious restaurant just 15 minutes away and the lake was only about seven minutes from the cabin, which made for a great day trip. Highly recommend this spot if you want to unplug unwind and enjoy nature.

We had a great stay at this cabin. The location is just rural enough – the neighborhood is really quiet and peaceful and the cabin felt secluded, but the roads are still accessible and there’s a pizza place about 20 minutes away lol. We loved the personality of this cabin and felt very comfortable here – it was not sterile and cold like some rentals can be. Definitely recommend

Great stay at Stephen’s. He advised us not to use our non 4WD vehicle to get up to the site but we tried anyway because we arrived after dark. He told us he could help get our car unstuck and patiently did so. It was a serene place and we tried some of his distillery items, which were tasteful and great (no hangover!!). Friendly and loving cat who follows him around as well.

Only needs a weekend spot to attend a wedding in Winchester. The house is way up on the mountain, so going in/out was a bear. Pretty much get what you need before heading up. The morning view across the valley is beautiful. The house had everything I needed. Bring bug spray if you’re going to go walk around.
