We were two couples staying for two nights and the whole house suited our needs very well. The house is a little bit rural, but it is still close major cities (Frankfurt, Cologne, etc.). It is a very charming house and looks as it appears in the pictures.

Very pleasant contact! Uncomplicated. It is about 18 minutes from Herne train station, the buses run often, so it is easy to reach by train. The district is very pretty and green. The apartment is cute and practical, we felt comfortable and welcome. The beds are quite good, the blankets comfortable, the heating is easy to adjust individually. There were four of us, but the sofa bed is actually only suitable for one adult/n, but it went well with two lean teenagers. We were even allowed to leave our separate garbage - thank you everything!

The apartment is wonderfully located in the middle of Haltern, in a few minutes you are everywhere. The rooms are bright and friendly, the decor is tasteful. Sleeping in a 1.40 m bed for two can be tight; it worked for us. In the kitchen was everything we needed for a few simple meals, for food out of the house there were plenty of options right next door. The communication with Steven was quick, friendly, helpful. We were there, looked at owners and walked through the Westruper Heath. All in all highly recommended.

I would come back right away when I'm around. I highly recommend the accommodation. Super clean, very friendly, the two. When they checked in, they met me and made me feel safe and comfortable in their home. I slept in the attic of the house and was let in by Dirk and he showed me everything. I was able to lock my studio and it was for me.

Our stay here was really nice. Everything was clean, instructions were clear and it's a good base for exploring Essen and further by public transport or car.

We (2 adults and 2 children) immediately found our way around the apartment. Everything was very clean and tidy and cozy. The friendly contact in advance made us feel well informed. The children were able to do the shopping independently without any problems and in the vicinity there are some opportunities for great things to do. We had a very nice time.

We loved staying at Susanne's place. From the balcony you have a great view of Lake Sorpesee, the awning is worth gold in summer. Unfortunately, you can only ventilate the bedroom indirectly due to the front structure, but we were able to come to terms with that.

When the accommodation is located in a nice and quiet neighbourhood, it is spotless, warm and as you expected and the owner is Uwe then it is sure that your stay will be great!!!!!

Benny’s place was a delight made even better by the chickens! We were visiting family in the area and Benny’s place was very convenient to multiple bicycle paths. Benny also provided a good shelter for our bicycles
