Need more than 5 Stars for this visit. Courtney is a wonderful host. The house is exactly how you see it in the pictures and so very clean. Courtney has thought of every little detail to make your stay effortless. Awesome coffee bar, comfortable beds, charging station in the bedrooms, information about the town and the historic house and so much more. Location is fabulous - who doesn't love the short walking distance to the delicious Wiseman House Chocolates? We had a delightful time visiting Hico and staying at this little Home in Hico.

I made a point to check in during daylight hours because the listing is a bit outside town, next to a large ranch. My GPS led directly to the correct driveway, but visiting earlier allowed me to return confidently down a dark road and right into my space at the end of the day. The reservation started with meeting the host in person to receive keys and remote openers, tour the space, and appreciate the view. Micca went above and beyond to make me feel at home, which extended to contacting me in advance of incoming severe weather and assisting me to move my vehicle into a protected space. The bed was comfortable, the kitchen was generously stocked with snacks and drinks, and the bathroom toiletries were teen girl approved. My teenager commented, "I wish we were staying here more than one night, it's so nice." Lovely, lovely listing, I would 100% stay again.

We were very comfortable in the house, enjoyed the location and the backyard.

Had an awesome overnight stay at this lovely little place in Hico. Extremely clean and comfortable cabin with everything we needed. Loved that there was a bottle of wine in the fridge for us! Nice perk. We sat outside on the front porch and enjoyed a glass as we watched an electrical storm Saturday evening!! Cheryl gave us a list of places to check out since it was our first visit to Hico. Her suggestions were spot on, and we enjoyed every recommendation and then some! Cheryl was always quick to respond and even warned us about the impending storm. We will definitely revisit this little gem.

Karon’s place was fantastic - very private with gorgeous views. The inside was modern and beautiful with everything you need. We will be back in the future!

The house is so cute and peaceful! It was very clean, and we loved feeding the milk bones to the sweet pups! Will definitely stay here again if we come back to the area in the future.

This was a great find! My first Airbnb experience and I’m so grateful for Natalie- she was the best hostess ! The area is amazing- she gave great recommendations for places to go! The house was peaceful and had more than everything needed for a great night! I hope to make it back and stay here again!

Wendy and Kevin were amazing hosts. They made us feel right at home and made sure we had everything that we needed for our stay. We weren't on property for much of our time here, as we were out visiting family most of the day. However, when we returned for the evening, it was a serene respite made more so by the beautiful scenery and quite atmosphere. The cottage was perfectly sized for a couple, the well placed bird feeders and baths gave you the perfect view of the natural fauna while enjoying some of the provided coffee and teas. The couple provided bread and homemade honey butter which made the perfect breakfast to start the day. We had a short opportunity to explore the property and enjoy the pond and firepit. There's certainly plenty to entertain yourself with if you do end up staying on-site throughout the day. The trails are clear and well cut and with their great white protectors guarding the grounds, you feel comfortable enjoying nature completely. Thank you Kevin and Wendy!

We loved experiencing the country life in this AirBnb. We enjoyed walking out to peaceful and beautiful views ( stargazing was amazing) seeing horses and longhorns and making friends with Walter the hound dog! Just what we needed ! Thanks Melissa!!
