We stayed for a weekend in Hamburg and spent 2 nights in the apartment. The check in was totally easy and exactly as described by Axel. The location of the apartment was a 5-minute walk to the Reeperbahn subway station and therefore very well located, of course you have to expect noise at night. Otherwise everything looked exactly like aif the photos, we were super satisfied:)

Great place as described. It is indeed located in a very lively area of Hamburg and especially with the presence of prostitutes. It's not disturbing (we slept very well) but it's good to know. Small improvement if possible: extra protection for the mattress and a real sheets that don't move.

I've been to Axel's for the 2nd time now and it's enough for me to sleep. Everything is very straightforward. The room is right on the side of the neighborhood, with windows but absolutely bearable. Otherwise, there is also an oropax dispenser in the hallway

We had a great stay at this room. It was clean, well-maintained and exactly as described. The bed was comfortable. The only downside was that the neighborhood was a bit noisy at times, especially in the evenings, but we already knew that before booking. Reeperbahn in weekends is full of party people. As our room was oriented towards the back garden, the only noise heard was when the neighbours used the shared spaces and it didn’t disturb our sleep. The place is very close to many restaurants, supermarkets & the S-bahn station.

Loved it there. Axel was very accommodating and everything went smoothly. The location was really central to the Reeperbahn. 5 minutes to the nearest S-Bahn/ bus. I was there Monday to Wednesday and had no problems with the volume. Would definitely come again, especially for the price.

Cheap and easy place to stay for a couple nights

Friendly Hostel staff, close to a lot of things, and the underground metro right outside their entrance that takes you to the center of Hamburg within 10-15 min.

Great place to stay. You are right in the action as it is right on the Reeperbahn. (If you're sensitive to noise, think about earplugs. But it wasn't an issue for us) The other neighborhoods can also be reached quickly. Perfect starting point. The other guests as well as the staff/host were totally friendly. We would book the place again anytime. Thank you 😊🙏

Great Private Room in a Hostel, multiple shower cabins available and washing mashine on site (6€ for washing and drying). The Host is super nice and helpful, the hostel is located right next to a Subway station, easy to get anywhere you want to get to and only 10min by foot from the train station. Well worth the price :)

the stay was good. it was easy to find the stay, they had towels ready which was good. there is a shared kitchen available as well which is nice. worth it for the price.

Pros: I love the single room which has tv, Headset, table, cozy lights and most importantly and rarely, privacy! There is storage locker right outside the room. I also adore the layout of the kitchen, toilet and bathroom. I support this new innovation of digital hostel only with a few things to improve. Cons: lacking of human temperature and interaction. Digital also means it’s gonna be very strict on rules, eg, checkin time. Door lock and locker are made by metal which creates loud sound when others using it. Why the single room doors are not floor to ceiling? It can better the sound proof. Last, my single room 14 has a sank in bed. I couldn’t rest my body well.
