Vacation rentals in Halsted

I don't know where to start to accurately describe how fantastic this past weekend was at Silviano's place. We wanted something remote, and I needed to escape computers and personally unplug. It was such a special place, indeed. It's as if you were at an upscale "campsite" with a beautiful wooded remote area but exceptionally well-appointed and pristine inside and minutes from small towns. After a glass of wine near the fire, Netflix was great in the late evenings. My husband can get a bit claustrophobic, and with the large doors with reflective private glass, it was like having the outside space inside and much more open than you can ever imagine in a container space! Silviano was very responsive in communicating with us and checking in on us. He truly loves his spaces, which is evident from his TLC of the sites. If you want an eclectic stay off the beaten path, this is your jam AND a short drive to some incredible places. I'll go back for a writing retreat on my own very soon!

Great place for a girls weekend. Super communicative and helpful host. Pool is beautiful. If you need a place to get away from a busy life and want to relax in the country, look no farther.

Nice, secluded location away from the hustle and bustle of the city. Very nice to see deer in the area. Property has a nice sitting area outside the was very cozy. Clean location.

The home is beautifully designed. We loved the look and energy of the space. The beds were comfortable, we had lots of closet space (and hangers!!) great appliances and beautiful views of nature. It was perfect for our little work retreat. Loved have multiple coffee makes, nice pots and pans and robes. Tyler was super responsive and helpful.

Our peaceful couples retreat at The Log Cabin Winter Retreat was unbeatable. Everything we needed to self-cater and enjoy a peaceful getaway was provided from well equipped kitchen, rooms (with comfortable firm-ish beds) and bathrooms to comfortable seating and throw blankets. Even though the charming living room with fireplace was warm and cozy, we didn’t want to leave the beautiful back porch with its serene waterfront views. My husband is an avid birder and was delighted to see and hear a number of birds, most especially the big beautiful Pileated woodpecker who visited the pines right below the porch on numerous ocasiona. We also enjoyed walking the un-paved country roads of the neighborhood, admiring the pines and multiple ponds. There was only one loose dog, but he was old and gentle; neighbors gave friendly waves. Hosts Ashley and Erik were friendly, accommodating, and easy to reach. We highly recommend this little gem of a place. We will be back!

Has such a relaxing Stay at the Golden Pine. I had a very pleasant stay at the luxury RV in Golden Pine. The RV was well-designed, spacious, and comfortable. The two-bedroom layout offered plenty of space, and the surrounding nature really added to the experience. Watching the sunsets over the landscape was a highlight, and waking up to the sunrise and the sounds of nature was truly peaceful. The balance between luxury and a connection to nature made it a unique experience. The RV was well-equipped, with a functional kitchen and cozy bedding, which made our stay easy and comfortable. We particularly enjoyed sitting on the porch in the evenings. It was peaceful to just relax, take in the quiet surroundings, and watch the stars at night. Overall, it’s a great place to unwind and spend time in nature without giving up comfort. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a simple and relaxing getaway.

This was the first time our family has done any type of camping and we enjoyed every minute of it. The place was set up perfectly and had such a great view. We brought our jetskis and parked them at the dock throughout the day making lake access extremely easy. We will definitely be back.

Great location. Peaceful area to stay for a few days in Round Top. Easy drive into town. Hellen was a great host.

It was a good place to have family come & stay that is close to town. But still out in the quite.
