Absolutely AMAZING!! We had such a lovely time staying at the Rockin Star Ranch!! The owner went above and beyond taking us to feed the cows, the hogs, the horses and the chickens. We enjoyed the beautiful sunset & sunrise on farm, and the kiddos cooled off in the resort-style pool. We’re definitely coming back for a big birthday party in a couple of months because we saw the event space and it’s absolutely PERFECT for what we want to do. A Rodeo-themed birthday party for my 8-year-old, all of her friends and the parents. Highly recommend this place for a relaxing weekend, wedding, or any special event!!

This was an absolutely perfect spot for a quick spring break getaway with our family. Marisol was extremely easy to communicate with and the house is ideal for 1-2 families with kids. Peaceful and out of the city but so close to downtown Brenham. The pool/hot tub is a huge perk! We will be back soon!

This is a great gem in Somerville! Super close to Somerville Birch Creek State Park and quiet neighborhood with deer!! Love the closed gate to let our dog run freely and the fire pit was awesome! Lots of extra towels and the place has been newly renovated so nice appliances and furniture, linens, etc. They listed the nearest emergency centers, restaurants, and things to do (go to Las Fuentes if you like Mexican and jumbo margs!).

This house was perfect for a long weekend getaway. Large private lot. Beautiful architecture. Lot’s of windows. Very peaceful. The host was very responsive and friendly. We would definitely recommend this home to friends and we will plan to stay again when we are in the area.

My wife and I came here on a weekend getaway from Austin and were SO happy we chose Ashley's cabin. Beautiful and peaceful, it has everything you could need for a relaxing weekend. Ashely provided so many great recommendations for spots in the area and was always very responsive. While we did go into town a bit, we spent most of our time relaxing at the cabin, which has an amazing balcony overlooking the water. The bed was very comfortable and the living room/kitchen area was incredibly cozy. We definitely hope to be back!

This was the first time our family has done any type of camping and we enjoyed every minute of it. The place was set up perfectly and had such a great view. We brought our jetskis and parked them at the dock throughout the day making lake access extremely easy. We will definitely be back.

This is the perfect spot for a Round Top trip - close enough to the main drag, but enough distance to be peaceful. Truly 5-10 minute drive away from all the antiquing things and just a few minutes drive into downtown. Nancy and her family were so responsive and helpful and made great recommendations to us for the antiques show, which can be overwhelming! The photos show a lovely home, but in person, you can appreciate all the fun little decorative touches and neat antique furniture. Spacious, quiet, and lovely. Great AC, super clean. Also, the home had great books about antiques and home furnishing and the guides for the current antique show, which was super helpful. The donkeys and chickens added to the fun!

She provided all the important information I needed ahead of time, which made check-in and getting settled super easy. Would definitely go back! Both homes were very well cared for, clean, and look just like they do in the photos. The outdoor space is great. The laundry is incredibly useful and the machines are brand new. The beds are comfortable and plentiful! Plenty of fridge and freezer space. Appliances are all in great shape. The porches are great, the fire pits are a great touch, and the pool is awesome. Great place to stay, especially if you’re looking to relax in a quiet location. Host is very proactive and responsive, but you won’t need to reach out because they have everything taken care of before you show up.

Great place to stay! So many amenities are provided. Loved the various outdoor cooking options, hot tub, and pool table. So much space for everyone. The largest couch I think I have ever seen. Everything had been cleaned thoroughly. A previous review mentioned the floors being unclean, it was a build up of soap residue that a quick vinegar rinse took off. It can happen when you mop too much with certain types of soap/cleaners, it is not a lack of cleaning. Amber was super responsive and helpful! We had a minor issue that Amber helped with in minutes. The only negative is the request to not flush toilet paper that is posted in the master bathroom. Septic issues are not unusual, but for some people this could be an issue and they should know about it before booking. I would love to stay here again and would recommend it highly.

Christy's Place in the New Ulm countryside was wonderful. The guest house was comfortable, cozy and views with many windows were very relaxing. We came during Antique Week so did a lot of shopping in the area and not as much time on the property. Next time we will definitely walk the property trails and sit by their beautiful pond. She was the best host, even providing many varieties of breakfast items and coffees/teas/bottled waters. Temperatures were cool and even the heater worked immediately. We loved watching the birds at the bird feeder at the kitchen table. A cozy and peaceful place to stay. We can't wait to return and relax on the ranch!

We stayed here for our annual girls' weekend and absolutely loved it! The house was in pristine condition—spotless, beautifully maintained, and incredibly comfortable. It had everything we needed for a relaxing weekend of catching up and hanging out. Katie was a fantastic host—very responsive and accommodating throughout our stay. David’s place sits in an idyllic location that’s peaceful & private. The home is immaculately built with impeccable design features. The beds are super comfy and the main living space is ideal for relaxing with family. Lots to explore on the property with the 4x4. We also thoroughly enjoyed our pup greeters - Gracie & Maxwell. David was very responsive when it came to our Q’s or an issue we had during our stay. Highly recommend his home. We’ll be back next year for our antiquing adventures!
