Vacation rentals with a fire pit in Halifax County

Renee was a fantastic host, very responsive, and made sure we were happy through out our stay. And when we asked to extend an extra day, it wasnt a problem. The kitchen was well stocked, bathrooms and bedrooms were clean, and it is a beautiful location. Will definitely be back in the near future.

The townhome is gorgeous and right on a little private cove that leads into Lake Gaston. Even though this is in a townhome community it's in a prime location to stores and great restaurants. The townhomes are newer and is very safe and comfortable. I highly recommend this home.

Lisa’s home has the perfect aroma, when you walk in you are greeted with a scent that just brightens up your day. The space was beautiful and just how we imagined it will be. We had a wonderful time on the deck and it was pleasure having me and my family stay at her home. So comfortable and peaceful!

Home was beautiful and had a wonderful energy. Well stocked home with a bunch of kitchen supplies. We loved the rocking chairs on the wrap around porch overlooking the lake. The mattresses were so comfortable. The husband's caught well over 100 fish throughout the week and we found amazing Antique stores all over the area. I would avoid the local Mexican restaurant as it was horrible but everything else was amazing. Recommend Daphne's coffee house in town!

Clean, comfortable, bright and relaxing house with great lake views. Had everything we needed. Spent 2 mornings playing disc golf in the area, but other than that, there was no reason to leave the property. Kristen was a great host with great communication. Would love to visit this spot again!

The surroundings were peaceful and quiet. We felt as if we had the world to ourselves. We used the lodge as a "Basecamp" for 3 days of fishing on the Roanoke River. There are 2 NC Wildlife boat ramps just minutes away. We met our host at check-in and she gave us a wonderful tour and brief history of the lodge. She made us feel very welcome and shared local information including restaurants and food stores. We enjoyed a quiet walk each morning surrounded by the sound of turkeys, geese, and cardinals. If you want to get away from the noise, this is the place! We're already making plans to return next year.

Very peaceful and easy to find. Stephen and his co host were quick responders when I had a question. And also told me where extra blankets were just in case we needed extra. I appreciate them especially because it was a last minute booking.

The house was great for our family. Lots of spaces and places for everyone. The sunsets over the lake are wonderful. We went on a few walking trails. Everyone had a great time.

This was our family’s second visit to Jennifer’s Lake Gaston house for Thanksgiving and we so enjoyed our time there! The house is spacious with a beautiful and quiet location on the lake. It’s so generous of the host to allow use of the kayaks and canoe, which makes this place truly extra special. The dock and other outdoor spaces are also lovely and the area is great for taking long walks. Check-in and check-out were a breeze and Jennifer is an extremely responsive host.
