Nestled with the beautiful surroundings of Coorong right on the banks of Lake Albert is this unique Yarli retreat where you can escape the hustle and bustle of life and stay inside a fully fitted out RV.

You’ll have all the comforts of home including a fully equipped kitchen, a living area, a comfortable queen bed and a full bathroom along with a BBQ, hammock and a firepit all overlooking the lake.

The space
Tucked away on a farm by beautiful Lake Albert and surrounded by nature is this spacious RV offering peace and quiet with nothing but space to spread out, relax and unwind.

Make your way inside the RV and take in the classic interior design, the soft comfortable furnishings and all of the creature comforts of home waiting for you to enjoy.

Sit back on the plush sofa after a day spent exploring the nearby trails or kayaking on the lake while you catch up on all your favorite shows and movies on the wall mounted Smart TV with free WiFi to keep you connected.

The compact kitchen comes fully equipped with everything you could need to cook up breakfast lunch and dinner along with a BBQ outside for extra grilling space. There is a fridge/freezer, a small oven and stovetop and a built in microwave along with pots, pans, utensils and plenty of bench space.
Enjoy meals together at the dining table inside overlooking the lake, or head outside and enjoy alfresco dining with an outdoor table right by the water while you watch free roaming wildlife, llamas and alpacas graze in the fields.

The bedroom space features a comfortable queen-sized bed topped with soft, quality bedding along with plenty of space for you to unpack and make yourself at home with overhead, side storage and even outlets to charge your phone while you slumber.

Off the bedroom is the full bathroom with a walk in shower, a toilet, a washing machine and a vanity stocked with all the essentials you could need and soft fluffy towels for each guest.

The RV while secluded is still only seven minutes from the heart of Meningie giving you the best of both worlds. In the town you can stock up on supplies at the Foodland, eat out at the café or grab a drink at Freshies and sample the local cuisine.

Venture a little further to discover the Coorong National Park or simply hang up the car keys and spend your afternoons lazing in the hammock (DIY hammock kept in caravan storage until needed) and your evenings with a bottle of wine gathered around the warm firepit as you watch the breathtaking sunsets reflect across the water.

So if you are looking for something a little different than a traditional hotel room that offers complete privacy, peace and quiet while still only minutes from civilisation, look no further than this unique farmstay and waterfront RV for your next escape from the city!

Guest access
Guests have private access to the entire RV and outdoor areas as well as free Wi-Fi, parking and complimentary coffee/tea.

You’ll also have access to the lake and the farm with only certain parts of the property needing the host's permission to access, however the caretaker’s home is off limits to guests at all times.

Other things to note
Please note that with such a beautiful, lakeside property away from the hustle and bustle, there is limited mobile reception however you will have access to WiFi to help keep you connected.

As this is a farm we recommend you bring appropriate footwear during rainy season and to be aware that during storms the wind can rock the RV and be a little noisy.

Guests can also expect unfenced livestock and farm animals to be freely roaming around the property and also just be aware that this is a nature reserve and to be aware and vigilant of snakes.

The official fire ban starts in November until further notice. During this period, any kind of fire activities will be unavailable for use (firepit & BBQ). When there is no fire ban, guests are welcome to collect their own firewood on the property or purchase wood from the local service stations.

Please also note that there will be other guests staying on the property who would be either camping or staying at the main house. Caretaker's cottage is 25 m away from the RV. If you want to book both the RV and the house for larger groups, you can contact us ahead of time to check for availability.

This beautiful property encompasses a country farm living way of life, which prompted me to scoop it up as soon as I laid eyes on it! I am a civil and structural engineer with a passion for living amongst nature and all that the country life embodies! This retreat has given me the privilege of enjoying a country lifestyle in a secluded location, which has given me the opportunity to provide others with the same breathtaking views along the Murray River. Guests are able to enjoy farm living without the costs associated with purchasing such a property.
