This is one of the few places in the area with free parking.
Reconnect with nature at this unforgettable escape within Pink Apple Orchard. The Woodman's Tepee is nestled within its own willow fedging privately set. Hand built on site, a quirky small accommodation perfect for couples. Set within its own outdoor seating area and internally a tall circular build brings a unique experience. Suitable to bring a travel cot for small families, also great for single parent families. For families of 3, a low lying single can also be made. Not suited for 3 adults.

The space
The Teepee is set along the pathways of Pink Apple Orchards eco friendly organic cider farm in between the Driftwood yurt and Sunrise yurt. Far enough for privacy yet close enough if booking extra accommodation for friends/teenagers. Inside the circular room is a double bed, bedside tables and a small electric stove. If warm weather we remove the stove to allow more space.

Located in stunning North Leitrim and with Lough Allen in view and walking distance, the area offers adventure, discovery and natural beauty.

Both electricity and candle light is provided. Surrounded by nature you can enjoy the surroundings or browse the information within the communal kitchen for places to visit, explore and see.

Pink Apple Orchard's Organic Cider is made annually on sight and is offered to sample to all who stay at Pink Apple Orchard. More cider can be requested/taken from The Gypsy Wagon with a 100% donation towards a local charity. (previous charities we have donated to: Make A Wish; children's charity and STOP; mental health awareness Charity. Please note we do not sell alcohol on sight. You can bring your own - BYOB.

The Cider house kitchen is left open 24/7 to help yourself to tea, coffee and sugar. Local Spar, One Stop Shop and butchers are just 5km drive away in 2 near by villages to purchase fresh produce.

The portable BBq can be used at any time - Please bring your charcoal.

Wood can be requested/bought up until 9pm for the fire pit from the Gypsy Wagon.

The Traditional Pizza oven can be lit and ingredients provided at extra cost for group bookings of 12 and over. N.B It must be arranged and pre-booked 2 days before arrival.

Please note - We do NOT provide Towels, but if you forget yours or you are touring round Ireland we can provide for you, but please arrange when booking.

Bring a book, a guitar and chill by the fire pit or relax within your private Yurt. Gaze at the stars, watch the butterflies, listen to the birds, watch the sunrise...take in nature. Take time to absorb a slower pace of life out of the daily city life.

Dry compositing on toilets on site. Clean Communal facility.

ALL water to Pink Apple Orchard and the reception (our home) is provided from a nearby Spring. Hence pressure for showers/taps may not be as strong as some households.

There is a small play area for children to play with parental/guardian

Free parking on entrance. Just a short walk to your accommodation.

You will have access to your accommodation, all communal facilities and areas.

During dry weather you have access to the front lawn also.

Other things to note
There are two local villages - Dowra and Drumkeeran. In Dowra there is a Spar for any food produce needed and also a small amenity shop and one pub. In Drumkeeran is a petrol/diesel pump, a butchers and a small Onestop shop for your basic shopping. There are three/four pubs.

There is a fabulous trad Irish music session most Thursday nights in Davitts - Drumkeeran.

John Mc Kenna festival - Drumkeeran - 5th - 8th June! Fabulous weekend of traditional music.

Within the neighbourhood From Pink Apple Orchard you can see Sliabh an Larainn - The Iron Mountains and watch the sun rise!

Lough Allen can be viewed from Pink Apple Orchard and is less than a 5 minute drive to walk along its shores of a small strand called Corry Strand. Just a 20 minute walk/5 minute drive, perfectly picturesque in all weathers with picnic tables and a small beached area.

On route with The Miners Way Walkway and The Dawn of Hope walk way.

A short drive will bring you to The Cavan Burren, National Geo Park, Marble Arch Caves, Parke's Castle, Arigna Mining museum, Glenfarne forest park, The River Shannon, Lough Allen Adventure, Drumshanbo Equestrian Centre, The Shannon Blueway, The Shed Distillery and visitor experience, Carrig Brewing Company and The Cuilcagh Boardwalk - Stairway to Heaven Walk.

Just a short stretch further allows you to explore The Wild Atlantic Way, The Hills of North Leitrim, Glenade and Ireland's Hidden Heartlands.

I love the outdoor life, nature, my sunrises anywhere when travelling and daily over The Iron mountains, sunsets, rainbows, waterfalls, playing trad irish flute and listening to ALL music genres! My me is sitting among the birds watching the sun rise with a cuppa tea! I also love printmaking and pottery!
