🛏️ The Space
The main cottage features charming original hardwood floors from the 1960s and eclectic decor that gives it a warm, welcoming personality.
You'll find:
*3 cozy bedrooms:
*2 with Queen beds
*1 with a single-over-double bunk
*Spacious living room with a pull-out double sofa, Roku TV, DVD player, and an epic library of nearly 400 movies

Outside, the magic continues:
🏕️ Rustic 3-season bunkie with room for six (twin bed, single-over-single, and single-over-double bunk), plus a fun kid-friendly play loft-think cabin-in-the-woods meets glamping.
🚣 Water adventures galore: We provide 2 canoes, 2 kayaks, and 2 paddleboards so you can explore the quiet, wildlife-rich bay. This isn’t Muskoka-style deep water—it’s classic Kawartha country: warm, shallow, weedy, and full of nature’s charm.
🔥 Waterfront cedar sauna: Our most-loved feature! Seats 4-6 and includes a sweet little porch for cooling off between sessions.
📶 A Quick Note on Wi-Fi
Yes, there is Wi-Fi, but no, it’s not Zoom-call-worthy. It’s ideal for light browsing and streaming. This is your chance to unplug on purpose.
🐾 Pet-Friendly Paradise
Bring your pup! We adore dogs- as long as you’re a responsible owner (yes, please clean up after them!).

Other things to note
A Few Important Things to Know Before You Arrive:
🧺 Linens & Towels:
Please bring all your own linens and towels, including bed sheets, bath towels, beach towels, hand towels, dish cloths, and drying cloths. Our cleaners have limited time between guests and aren't able to handle laundry on-site. We appreciate your understanding! We have duvets, blankets, and pillows provided for you.
🗑️ Garbage & Recycling:
Guests are kindly asked to take all garbage and recycling with them upon departure, as the local transfer station is for residents only. If you'd prefer not to bring it home, the Lindsay landfill (en route to the GTA) is an option. Details and hours are available on the City of Kawartha Lakes website.
🚰 Well Water Notice:
Our well water is perfectly safe to drink, but depending on the time of year, it may have a natural sulphur smell. If you’re sensitive to taste or odor, we recommend bringing bottled water.
Thanks so much- and we can’t wait to host you!
