Chic and cozy OFF-grid cabin located near the forest, in the middle of the Apuseni mountains with a spectacular view of the Vulcan peak.
If you love nature and you enjoy peace, this is definitely a place where you can relax and disconnect from absolutely anything that means noise and artificial light.
Rediscover the joy of simple things through the chirping of birds and the clean air from an altitude of 800 m.
The space
The idea for the project was shaped around the spectacular view we encountered every time we arrived at the location where the cabin now stands.
In the end, we decided to go ahead with it in the summer of 2023!
It was a lot of work, considering everything was rebuilt from scratch with our own hands, on the foundation of an old barn. As you will see with your own eyes, we used both old and new wood because we like everything to be as natural as possible.
Even though we live in a world where everyone seeks perfection, we wanted to leave some things imperfect here in order to preserve the beauty of handmade work. The cabin combines old rustic style with industrial style.
It is available for 2 people! Privacy is paramount here, given that:
• There are no other homes within a 1 km radius
• There is no artificial light around the cabin
• The sky is very clear at night
• The silence is indescribable
