“Why Not” is a handmade Amazigh/Berber art house on Banana Beach, built with intention by local artist using local materials. Open shared spaces create a very unique, authentic and rustic atmosphere.
Set between mountains and ocean, a short walk from Awrir village, it’s a place to slow down - surf, ride horses, explore, cook, and connect.
This space is best suited for open-minded travelers who appreciate creativity & authenticity. If you want something real, creative, and alive - Welcome.🍌
The space
Perfectly situated between the beach and the village great access to restaurants great surf spots and a real local Moroccan experience with a unique twist.
The apartment is private, with its own bathroom & shower as well as small kitchenette with stove and sink.
Guest have access beyond their private apartment treat it like your home, including the rooftop with ocean views and sunbathing chairs and saloon area.
Guest also have access to the outdoor communal kitchen, which is fully equipped with oven, full stove range, BBQ area and anything needed to cook. We encourage guests to cook. We often prepare and share meals. It’s a very community driven space to accompany the private apartments.
Feel free to enjoy the entire property as your own. The garden space is welcoming, there is a large outdoor lounge area near the treehouse in the garden, near the fountain. It is a lovely place to unwind and listen to the birds.
