Whispering Trees Farm is a retreat space one hour west of Houston that can host groups up to 25. Our 70 acre property includes 2 guest suites and 4 guest cottages. The Lodge features a meeting space for up to 25, with a smart board for presentations. Adjacent to the meeting space is a commercial kitchen with premium appliances including a 48 inch gas range. Cool off at the end of the day in our competition length pool. We are looking forward to sharing our view of life in the country!
The space
Whispering Trees Farm was created to host group events, team building meetings and corporate retreats. Our main meeting area, The Lodge, has seating for 25 with a smart board for presentations or slide shows. We have a designated internet tower for our property with 500 mbps capability. Adjacent to the meeting area is a community kitchen, with restaurant grade appliances, including a double door reach in refrigerator, single door freezer, commercial ice machine and a 48 inch gas stove with double oven.
You are welcome to bring your meals to cook in the community kitchen, we have all of the cooking equipment needed for any meal, with place settings for 25. We can also coordinate local restaurant food delivery. Bellville is known for our fantastic meat market and bar-b-que, as well as an outstanding breakfast taco place. There are also several dine out options within a 15 mile radius.
In our community kitchen, we have bottled water and sodas, Community Coffee, Iced Tea and Lemonade.
For outside cooking, we have a Traeger smoker/grill and a gas grill for your use, located in the pool area.
Just outside The Lodge is our competition length (25 yard) swimming pool, perfect for relaxing or swimming laps. There is a hot tub that seats 12 adjacent to the pool. The pool area has Trex patio tables, chairs, couches and rocking chairs, and Ledge in-water pool furniture and bar stools. Our pool area is fenced, but there is not a child proof gate around the pool area. There is also a pond that has a fence between the house and the pond area, but no fence or gate around the pond.
The farm has 2 guest suites (2 bedroom/2 bath) and 4 cottages (can sleep 1-4 guests). The cottages and suites have large outdoor decks to enjoy the bluest skies all day and beautiful sunsets in the evening. There are a total of 16 beds, with double occupancy, we can host up to 25 overnight guests.
There are fire pits located in front of the cottages, as well as a tomahawk range. We have donkeys (Peter and Penelope), and Peter loves the be fed treats. Penelope has a baby on the way, so she is a little shy and keeps to herself. We also have cattle, retired horses and a longhorn that really enjoy being fed treats at the fenceline.
We are a working farm, so clearing the land is a constant process around here. It is easy for us to build a bonfire of any size for your group, just let us know in advance of your visit.

The entire is farm is for your use, with the exception of the Singer Residence and Russ and Company offices, both of which are marked with signage. An important farm rule- if the gate is closed, close it behind you please.
Other things to note
We have three very friendly dogs on the property, as well as longhorn, cows, donkeys and ducks. Due to the amount of animals living here at the farm, we ask that you leave your pets at home.
